Oromia Bank invites qualified and competent external applicants for the following different position:                                 

Position 1:  Branch Manager I       

Education & Experience Requirements: BA in Management/ Business Administration/Accounting/ Marketing or any other relevant field of study with 6 years of relevant experience, while Managerial Experience is Preferable.

Competency Requirements: Core Competency [Perseverance, Continuous Learning, Teamwork, Integrity and Trust, Customer Focus], Individual Competency [Action oriented, Interpersonal skill and Problem solving] and Technical Competency [Knowledge of the Banking operations, deep understanding of  financial products and services, demonstrated experience identifying and resolving difficult operational issues, intermediate proficiency in Microsoft suite and core banking system].

Babile Branch_ Babile town

Position 2:  Senior District Credit Officer

Education & Experience Requirements: BA/ MA/ MBA in Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or any other relevant field of study 4 years of relevant experience required.     

Competency Requirements: Core Competency [Perseverance, Continuous Learning, Teamwork, Integrity and Trust, Customer Focus], Individual Competency [Action oriented, Interpersonal skill and Problem solving] and Technical Competency [ Knowledge of the Bank’s Credit programs, procedures and guidelines, ability to analyze customer situation, ability to provide support to Branches on the area]     

Place of Work: Dire Dawa  District Office

Position 3:  District Auditor  

Education & Experience Requirements: BA in Accounting/ Management/       Business Administration/Economics or related field of study with 4 years of relevant banking experience.         

Competency Requirements: Core Competency [Perseverance, Continuous Learning, Teamwork, Integrity and Trust, Customer Focus], Individual Competency [Action oriented, Interpersonal skill and Problem solving] and Technical Competency [Knowledge of banking Audit principles, experience in undertakes special investigation and report the audit finding to concerning organs, ability to review and validate audit finding and experience in Manages on-line checking of Book of Accounts of Branches against independent schedule).

Place of Work: Dire Dawa  District Office

Position 4:  District Planning and Monitoring Officer

Education & Experience Requirements: BA degree in Management/Economics/Accounting/ Business Administration or related field of study 2 years of relevant experience

Competency Requirements: Core Competencies [Perseverance, Continuous Learning, Teamwork, Integrity and Trust, Customer Focus], Individual Competency [Action oriented, Interpersonal skill and Problem solving] and Technical Competencies [planning, and reporting ability, as well as proven experience in making follow up]     

Place of Work: Dire Dawa District office

Position 5:  District Marketing  Officer   

Education & Experience Requirements: BA in Management/ Business Administration/ Accounting/ Marketing or any other relevant field of study with 2 years of relevant experience.

Competency Requirements: Core Competency [Perseverance, Continuous Learning, Teamwork, Integrity & Trust, and Customer Focus], Individual Competency [Action oriented, Interpersonal skill and Problem solving] & Technical Competency  [ Knowledge of Marketing programs of the bank, ability to  Advertise, Sale, Promote, and the Banks  Brand and give support for branches.]         

Place of Work: Dire Dawa District Office

Position 6:  District Sales and Customer Service Officer     

Education & Experience Requirements: BA/ MA/ MBA in Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, or any other relevant field of study with 2 years of relevant experience        

Competency Requirements: Core Competency [Perseverance, Continuous Learning, Teamwork, Integrity & Trust, and Customer Focus], Individual Competency [Action oriented, Interpersonal skill and Problem solving] & Technical Competency [knowledge of the Banks product and Services, proven knowledge of selling product and service as well as customer service management.]      

Place of Work: Dire Dawa District Office

Position 7: Branch Accountant

Education & Experience Requirements: BA in Management/ Business Administration/Accounting/ Marketing or any other relevant field of study with 2 years of relevant experience.

Competency Requirements: Core Competency [Perseverance, Continuous Learning, Teamwork, Integrity and Trust, Customer Focus], Individual Competency [Action oriented, Interpersonal skill and Problem solving] and Technical Competency [ knowledge of accounting procedures and process, Demonstrated experience identifying and resolving typical accounting issues, demonstrated ability to analyze and comprehend financial data, intermediate proficiency in Microsoft suite and core banking system and For IFB Branch, Sharia Knowledge is Preferable].

Chelenko Branch_ Chelenko Town,

Position 8: Senior Branch Sales and Customer Service Officer    

Education & Experience Requirements: BA in Accounting/ Management/       Business Administration/Economics or related field of study with 2 years of relevant banking experience.         

Competency Requirements: Competency Requirements: Core Competency [Perseverance, Continuous Learning, Teamwork, Integrity and Trust, Customer Focus], Individual Competency [Action oriented, Interpersonal skill and Problem solving] and Technical Competency [knowledge of bank deposit and account opening processes and the full range of products, demonstrated experience influencing and solving difficult customer issues, intermediate proficiency in Microsoft suite and core banking system and For IFB Branch, Sharia Knowledge is Preferable].

Position 9: Branch Credit Officer

Place of Work: Dire Dawa City_ Megala Branch
