Position 1: Engineer
The positions involve Designing, planning, supervising and monitoring the construction of the Water, sanitation and other small-scale irrigation, NRM/ water management infrastructures/ in People in need Operational areas. The position requires supervising construction of contracted or on-force construction and rehabilitation of water schemes, sanitations and other infrastructures using unskilled and skilled labors. The position also requires proper management of materials, equipment and other resources under the programs and reporting periodically to supervisors
Under the supervision and support of the Engineering Unit Coordinator; administer contractual issues and deal with supplier, follow up and participate in BID process in collaboration with the Procurement department by adhering to the organizational and National low. Participate in technical assessment, proposal development and assessment for new emerging projects. Provide technical support during various manuals, construction standard and checklists preparation together with the Engineering unit Coordinator and making sure it is applied in the field.
Responsible to provide technical guidance on water, sanitation, and hygiene project activities and other programs where there is Infrastructure facilities to build put together and review technical designs and BoQs; and supervise constructions.
Job Requirements
MSc/BSc in Hydraulic Engineering, Water Supply and Environmental Engineering, Water Resources & Irrigation Engineering and Other related field of study
Above 3 years’ Experience in construction project planning & scheduling, designing, supervision works ;specifically, she/he has to has an experience and good skills in big scale Wash infrastructures , coordination of project partners and Technical Report writing.
Salary: Birr 30,140.00

Position 2: Hygiene and Sanitation Promoter
Hygiene and sanitation promoter specific tasks are:
Hygiene and sanitation promoter will plan, coordinate and follow up grass root level for emergency responses under the project and responsible to achieve the specific results in the field in proper quality and time. Hygiene promotor works under supervision of a Field Coordinator and with close cooperation with other project team and other departments like HR, Financial, Logistic, M and E, Safeguarding, Engineering departments.
Job Requirements:
Degree in the field of Education, Educational Planning and Management, Educational Leadership and Management, or other related field of studies
Above 3 years’ Experience in Relevant technical and emergency practical experience of Health extension program package such as prevention of Epidemic disease, Hygiene sanitation, with Governmental and NGO experience is an assets, Experience with MFA, USAID/BHA, ECHO, funded project and demonstrated experience in EiE and WASH sectors etc.
Salary: Birr 19,130.00
