Position 1: MERL officer BHA project (3)
Qualifications/ experience essential:
- Education at BA/BSC/ Master’s Degree level or equivalent in Social science, Development studies, Economics, Statistics and Management
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience working on gender transformative monitoring, evaluation, research and learning.
- programs/ projects or demonstrated equivalent combination.
- Practical knowledge of monitoring and evaluation methodologies, including log frames, result chains, theories of change, and assessment/evaluations.
- Experience in staff/team management, coaching, mentoring, capacity building, and performance review and appraisal.
- Demonstrated knowledge of strategic planning processes
- Depth and breadth of knowledge of Plan’s global and national strategies and policies.
- Ability to communicate effectively and authoritatively on area of expertise.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships across a network.
Qualifications/ experience desirable:
- Demonstrated experience of operational and programming processes, systems and principles, and the ability to provide leadership and support to staff working at regional & community level.
- Sound understanding of integrated development issues and critical analysis of child poverty
- Experience in both development and humanitarian contexts.
Languages required
- Fluency in English language is essential
- In addition to Amharic, Knowledge of Local Languages is a desirable

Position 2: CPIMS Officer BHA Project
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System, Information Management, Statistics, or other relevant fields
- At least 3-years of experience in Information management, Database management, and Data analysis.
- Experience with managing child related data, more preferably CPIMS/CPIMS+.
- Excellent understanding of data protection and information sharing protocols.
- Very good conceptual understanding of the job
- Fluency in English/ verbal and written
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including influencing, negotiation and coaching
- Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently
- Commitment to PIE’s values
Skills required:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in multicultural, multi – location, values driven teams.
- Proven skills and experience in system development, repair and maintenance.
- Preferably basic knowledge on case management and child protection programming
- Strong Information management skills and proficiency in IT/computer skills (including sound Power BI, KOBO, CPIMS+ proficient).

- Experience in designing and facilitating of training and capacity building on child protection, counselling and/or case management technical areas with a variety of audiences.
- Experience in community mobilization and conducting outreach activities.
Languages Required
- Proficiency in English & Amharic
- Knowledge of local language (Afan Oromo) is a requirement

Qualifications and Experience Requirements

Educational Qualification and Experience:

- Basic financial transaction skills.
