Plan International Ethiopia would like to invites competent and qualified applicants for the following job positions.
Position 1: Finance Assistant
Qualifications /experience essential/:
A minimum of BA degree in Accounting/Business Management & related fields with 2-5 years of practical experience in Finance area.
- NGO experience is plus.
- Safety issues in cash management.
- Best way of handling transaction.
- Bookkeeping and interpersonal skill.
- Basic computer skill to process various document settlements like Excel.
- Ample knowledge of currency denominations and counting.
- Advanced computer skills, especially in Excel, Word and use of email.
- S/he must be committed and willing to work under stress environment and should perform tasks independently.
Position 2: Hygiene Promotion Officer
Qualification and experience:
University degree in public health or a related subject. Adequate experience in the field will substitute for formal qualifications.
Minimum 4(four) years of total experience of which 2(two) years in WASH emergency interventions in NGOs or similar organization.
Experience in WASH facilities construction in a complex and demanding workload.
Substantial experience in coordinating, mobilizing community, planning, implementation, supervision, monitoring and reporting.
Demonstrated work experience in designing, supervise and implementing water, sanitation and hygiene infrastructural programs in community, school and health centres.
- Ability and willingness to travel and work in rural areas where the project is implemented, within approved security frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication, presentation and facilitation skills and an ability to train and mentor staff.
- Desired spoken and written English.
- Good computer skills (particularly Excel, Word and databases).
- Skills Specific to the Post
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships with colleagues.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation.
- Strong negotiation, influencing and problem solving skills.
- Numeracy and the ability to interpret financial data, in order to understand budgetary processes including planning, monitoring and reporting.
- Ability to analyze information and evaluate options including planning skills.
- Proficient in computer skills and use of relevant software and other applications
Position 3: Finance Assistant – Documentation and Digital Archive
Required Qualifications and experience:
A minimum of BA degree in Accounting/Business Management & related fields with 2-5 years of practical experience in Finance area.

Position 4: Logistics Officer – Fleet
Qualifications and Experience:
BA Degree or Diploma in Auto Mechanics, as Logistics and Supply Chain, Fleet Management or any other related field
3 -5 years of relevant work experience in areas of vehicles and generator management preferably in NGO environment out of which 1 year at supervisory level
- Sound analytical and problem-solving capability;
- Ability to influence others’ behaviour through effective relationship building; through current knowledge and understanding of relevant policies, frameworks etc.
- In-depth knowledge of project processes, procedures, and systems
- Valid Driving License is required
Position: 5: Dirver
Diploma/Certificate in Auto Mechanics
Very good familiarity with the area the project/program is situated
- Automotive background is an added advantage
- Languages Required
- Basic working language in English language is essential
- Knowledge of local languages is a desirable
