Position 1: Livelihood Coordinator
The Opportunity:
The position holder will be responsible for direct project activity implementation and ensuring the quality and effectiveness of Plan’s emergency response through EHF funded project within his/her designated geographical area in Benishangul Gumuz region including project implementation, day-to-day monitoring and reporting.

Technical expertise, skills and knowledge
- BSc in Crop Production and Agronomy, Agricultural Development, Agricultural Economics, Development studies or other related fields is required with a minimum of 5 years of related working experience.
- Good managerial experience, including managing budgets
Qualifications and experience desirable
- Equipped with sufficient level of awareness on: Early warning concepts; agriculture, Disaster risk management practice and knowhow; food security and livelihoods framework and Gender.
- Knowledge of Plan policies and procedures, Sphere and the Red Cross/ NGO Code of Conduct
- Knowledge of child rights programming
- Good knowledge of field level realities of humanitarian NGOs work;
- Knowledge of FSL, CTP, Agriculture, EWS, DRR and DCM;
- Good understanding of the external operating environment including government policies, strategies, guidelines and operating procedures in managing emergencies and disasters in the country Perform multiple, non-technical tasks with a potential need to upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions.
- Ability to work independently

Position 3: Integrated Service Center Coordinator
The Opportunity:
The Integrated Service Centre Coordinator provides technical and administrative support to the Adama Industrial Park Welcome Centre. He/she welcomes and provides information, info pack with 50birr mobile airtime through recording on hardcopies and data base/kobo for the newly recruited AIP workers, manage ICT corner, organize events, workshop, training, orientation, to promote WC/ISC and raise awareness of FFW and surrounding community on gender, SRH, MHM and host visitors and maintains the centre’s communications and assists workers and relevant stakeholders with questions and concerns related to industrial park and the project targeted community surrounding Adama industrial park.
Accountabilities and Main Work Activities
- Plan has a performance management and accountability matrix SOP. Every position holder is expected to adhere to the SOP and review and review her/his responsibility against the accountability matrix.
Welcoming and orientating newly recruited female factory workers (30%)
- Coordinates with recruiters on how to portray information to the newly recruited workers at the centre and deliver information (soft or hard) to the workers.
- Provides information to recruited and prospective workers on the industrial park at the Welcome Centre
- Updates the WWA staff on new developments on information packet and centre-related activities on weekly, biweekly, monthly and quarterly basis as required
- Plans for information dissemination and centre based orientations to in consultation with the Communications Manager/Specialist
- Implements updated information displays and designs at the centre
- Maintains orientation and information sharing statistics and creates daily reports (will also share a compiled report on weekly, monthly and quarterly)
- Assists with the field level recruiters and screeners training and provides information on what to focus in the training related to information sharing to workers
- Stays up-to-date on general industrial park worker- related policies and procedures regarding recruitment schedules, requirements, work ethics, work hours, dress codes, do’s and don’ts, etc
Managing WWA data base system for newly visited HIP workers (30%)
- Maintains accurate information regarding the age, gender, community of origin etc of the recruited workers who have received the information pack (it could be print outs or videos etc).
- Share report from the data base when needed
- Update the data base on quarterly time frame
- Provides information to recruited and prospective workers on the industrial park at the Welcome Centre
- Connects drop-in job seekers to the relevant department/centre at the Industrial Park by providing accurate information
Report (15%)
- Prepare and share weekly report to the Technical Coordinator
- Prepare monthly report for the purpose of PIR
- Prepare and share donor quarter report on time
- Prepare and share annual donor report
Field Support, Gap fill and Capacity Building (25%)
- Support actively on the engagement of WWA activities : rapid assessments, operational setup and different studies etc.
- Provide gap filling at other WWA implementation areas or IPs .
- Travel to other WWA implementation areas for technical support .
- Support effectively in the WWA annual work plan and team building exercise
- Take part and contribute to the identification, assessment, capacity building & support, monitoring and coordination of partners or small business
- Perform any other relevant assignments given by the supervisor

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mass Communication, Journalism & Literature, Psychology, ICT/IT, Public Health/Nursing, Social work, Sociology, Community Development & Leadership and Other Relevant Social Science fields.
- Five years of experience in welcome center and/or related experience. Preferably, Female applicants are highly encourage.
- Certified in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook) and graphic designs.
- Knowledge and ability to operate a personal computer and utilize software including, but not limited to MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and other computer applications.
- Proven ability to prepare clear, concise reports with graphics; extraordinary attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability in management, analysis, and processing of data to inform project planning and M&E
- Ability to gather feedback from workers that will be used to as an input to improve the welcome centre and informational materials and displays.
- Ability to interpret and implement various feedback and comments received at the centre to the needs of the industry park workers
- Ability to listen, understand and research issues for industrial park workers.
- Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments in consultation with the field team.
- Ability to work independently and be a team player
- Ability to document, archive, and share information
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff members and the industrial park community.
- The ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Ability to operate in an interactive, fast-paced, culturally diverse environment
- Accomplish other duties as assigned by her/his line manager
Languages required:
- Excellent communication skills demonstrated both verbally and in writing. Ability to communicate with industry workers, HR managers, and international visitors in English, Amharic and Afan Oromo languages in all skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing).
