Position 1: Gender based Violence Specialist
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
Qualifications/Experience Essential:
- Bachelor of Arts degree (Masters preferred) in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Gender Studies, Law, or other similar social science field of studies;
- Minimum Five years’ work experience in GBV or general protection related roles
- Experience working in NGO and writing project proposals is an advantage
- Experience working in IDP and refugee context is desirable
Core competencies:
- Understands and applies a survivor-centered approach, including GBV Guiding Principles, Safety, Confidentiality, Respect and Non-discrimination
- Demonstrates commitment to gender equality; promotes and integrates gender analysis and mainstreaming into humanitarian programming;

- Understands and applies the tools and forms relevant Inter Agency guidelines, tools and forms on Protection in general and GBV in emergencies in particular.
- Familiarity with international, regional, national and local normative and legal frameworks pertaining to protection and GBV in particular.
Professional competencies:
- Demonstrates knowledge and abilities to oversee implementation of a multi-sectorial response to GBV
- Understands principles and practice of a case management approach and can apply to GBV programs
- Demonstrates knowledge of and engages effectively with the humanitarian architecture
- Demonstrates knowledge of GBV prevention theory and identifies and applies prevention strategies at different stages of the humanitarian response
- Demonstrates critical analysis skills including context, trends, and vulnerabilities related to GBV
- Demonstrates knowledge of prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse responsibilities within the humanitarian response and supports implementation
- Able to influence other sectors to mainstream GBV prevention and response

Position 2: Finance Coordinator (Re-Advertised)
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
Qualifications/ experience essential:
- Education at First Degree level or equivalent vocational study in fields such as Accounting and Finance
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience of International NGO grant management systems and financial regulations
- Knowledge of Grants Administration especially system management and donor compliance in reporting of diverse institutional donors (EU, USAID, ECHO, UNICEF, GFFO, DFID etc.)
Qualifications/ experience desirable:
- Demonstrated knowledge in cost recovery principles and systems, experience in implementing a cost recovery system is preferable.
- Experience in managing performance and facilitating development of staff is preferred.
Languages required
Fluency in English language is essential
Knowledge of Local Languages is a desirable

Position 3: Supply Chain and Admin Coordinator (Re-Advertised)
Qualifications/Experience Essential:
· Education at BA Degree level such as Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Management, Economics and any other related field of studies
· At least 5+ years’ relevant experience out of which 3 years on a senior level experience (not necessarily gained in an NGO or INGO) or demonstrated equivalent combination.
· Significant experience in large scale logistical function both emergency and development programs
· Demonstrable driving qualification and experience
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DESIRABLE:
- Minimum of 5 (five) years of relevant work experience in areas of Procurement management, vehicle fleet management, inventory management, asset management preferably in INGO environment.
- Demonstrated experience scheduling and managing service requests from multiple departments.
Workplace: Semera, Afar

Position 4: Office Attendant (5)
Job Requirements
Knowledge and skills:
- Knowledge of general office cleaning
Behaviours
- Strong human relations skill.
Qualifications and Experience
- 10th grade complete.
- Two years of relevant experience.
