Position 1: – Senior Systems Admnistrator
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical engineering, ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Work Experience:
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience.
- Experience in managing and administering servers and storages systems is preferable
- Training in Linux and Solaris, Storage management and web technologies & relevant certifications are advantageous.
Description of Duties:
- Involve in the implementation of the strategic direction of the IT infrastructure, environments system administration.
- Manage the implementation of the IT policy, procedures and documents.
- Perform the design, setup, installation, integration and operation of system to meet the business’ requirements.
- Manage all servers, back-up devices, operating systems and environmental systems are installed, configured and always functioning optimally.
- Manage and monitor all servers and storages
- Perform corrective and periodic preventive maintenance of system equipment’s.
- Perform cleaning and dust removal of the servers and storages
- Work with vendor and monitor all system infrastructure support activities.
- Manage the delivery of systems and other projects.
- Conduct periodic system infrastructure performance metrics.
- Involve in the design of system capacity planning and build business continuity.
- Involve in the execution of upgrade and migration of system infrastructures.
- Manage high availability, confidentiality, integrity and reliability of system infrastructure.
- Provide support services to users within established SLAs;
- Work with all relevant IT and other work units in the group.
- Involve in research of system technologies and standards like servers and storages
- Build knowledge base from the lessons learned.
- Provide training, coaching and mentoring of employees within the department towards effective career development.
- Prepare periodic reports.
- Attend incidents, interruptions, malfunctions, and system quality reductions at any moment
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor
Position 2: Manager, Data-Center and Systems Administration
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical engineering, ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Work Experience:
- At least 8 years’ relevant experience
- Experience in managing and administering Data Center, ICT systems and infrastructure & Relevant certifications are advantageous
- Training in Cisco CCNA & CCNP Data Center, in Linux and Solaris, Storage management and web technologies is preferable
Description of Duties:
- Involve in the formulation and implementation of the strategic direction of the IT infrastructure, environments and Data Center administration.
- Involve in the development and maintenance of the Data Center and IT infrastructure Architecture.
- Involve in the development of IT policy, procedures and documents and lead in their implementation through the continuous review.
- Oversee the design, setup, installation and operation of Data Center, integration of various systems environment, or process designs for IT infrastructure, or any outsourced technology and business process solutions to meet the business’ requirements as per PCI DSS and other relevant security standards.
- Manage all servers, storages, back-up devices, operating systems, environmental systems, middleware’s and web servers are installed, configured and always functioning optimally.
- Manage and monitor all Data Center assets such as computing devices and facilities (electrical systems, power sources, UPS, AC, humidity, smoke and fire detection, flood detection, surveillance cameras, door access, etc).
- Manage physical access to Data Center.
- Manage corrective and periodic preventive maintenance, configuration reliability of servers, storages, and other Data Center equipment’s.
- Facilitate cleaning and dust removal process at the data Center.
- Manage vendor relationship and monitor all Data Center and IT infrastructure support activities.
- Manage the successful delivery of Data Center, IT infrastructure and other projects.
- Manage resource allocation and provision of access for servers and storages.
- Conduct periodic Data Center and IT infrastructure performance metrics.
- Design system and Data Center capacity planning and build business continuity.
- Manage the upgrade and migration of Data Center and IT infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability, confidentiality, integrity and reliability of Data Center and IT infrastructure.
- Ensure backup of programs, OS, middleware configurations, images and logs as required.
- Ensure the provision of an effective and responsive support services to users within established SLAs;
- Work with all relevant IT and other work units in the group.
- Research Data Center technologies, systems and standards.
- Build knowledge base from the lessons learned.
- Manage incidents timely.
- Prepare budget for the unit
- Provide training, coaching and mentoring of employees within the department towards effective career development.
- Prepare periodic reports
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
Position 3: – Manager, IT Security, Risk and Compliance Division
Qualification & Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business or a related field
- At least 8 years’ relevant experience
- Training in Information Systems Security, IT Security Management, Cyber Security and Risk Management is preferable
- Relevant professional certifications are advantageous.
Description of Duties:
- Formulate and implement the direction of the IT security and risk management strategy.
- Develop policies and procedures for the IT/cyber security, risk and compliance and lead in their implementation through the continuous review.
- Ensure information system confidentiality, integrity and availability to meet the customer expectation.
- Manage vendor relationship and monitor all support activities.
- Manage and ensure the successful delivery of IT security, risk and other related projects.
- Ensure periodic performance metrics are conducted.
- Design capacity planning and ensure business continuity
- Lead maintenance, upgrade and migration of security and risk management systems.
- Work with the relevant work units in the development of software, products and services adhere with security standards.
- Research new IT security and risk management standards and technologies.
- Ensure organizational risks are reviewed and where needed escalated to the central risk register.
- Ensure and implement multi-layer security controls and review and update periodically including anti-virus, anti-malware, etc.
- Assess and manage information security risk periodically as per PCI-DSS and other relevant standards.
- Conduct periodic IT security audit and take remedial actions on findings.
- Review the assessed functionality and gap analysis of key business areas and infrastructure and determine the extent to which comply with statutory and regulatory requirements and take appropriate actions.
- Ensure the business operation complies with the company policy, regulatory bodies’ laws, regulations, standards including the National bank of Ethiopia, PCI-DSS, etc.
- Follow-up security incident response and process protocols including incident response report and sanctions.
- Prepare budget for the unit
- Support the CEO in the implementation of the corporate strategy.
- Provide guidance and training of all staffs and customers in the area of IT security, risk management and compliance.
- Prepare periodic reports
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
