Safaricom Ethiopia would like to invite qualified and competent professionals on the following positions.
Position 1: – HR Operations Specialist
Technical / professional qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and Higher National Diploma in HRM
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience carrying out duties involving letter administration and filing
- Strong administrative skills with a flair for technological enhancements
- High multi-tasking, organizational, communication and writing skills
- Efficient skills in word processing, spread sheet applications, basic knowledge of internet/e-mail functions, use of Outlook and Outlook Express functions,
- Ability to prioritize multiple demands, exercise tact and discretion and meet deadlines.
- Ability to sit for long periods at a desk utilizing a PC.
Position 2: – Territory Account Manager
Required Technical / professional qualifications:
- Marketing, Sales, Business administration or Economics Degree, or relevant degree with over 4 years’ experience in sales, marketing, customer/account management.
- Post graduate certification in Sales & Marketing, business administration will be an added advantage.
- Exposure in Service and/or Customer management for major corporate clients, commercially savvy with a detailed understanding of the technologies the company is selling and issues that typically arise
- Industry certifications would be an added advantage (ITIL Foundation, MCP/MCSE, CCNA etc.)
- Understanding of English and local language both written and spoken.
- Literacy in basic computer applications such as MS word, excel, outlook, etc.
- Ability to cope with pressure from customers while delivering quality service.
- Ability to accurately perform cash transactions.
- Knowledge of Telecommunication products and services.
- Good listening and critical problem-solving skills.
- Well-developed presentation skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (articulate) coupled with good listening and critical reasoning skills.
- Customer handling, Account management and customer retention skills

Position 3: – Regional Sales Manager-EBU
Required Technical / professional qualifications:
- Marketing, Sales, Business administration or Economics Degree, or relevant degree with over 6 years’ experience in sales, marketing, customer/account management.
- Post graduate certification in Sales & Marketing, business administration will be an added advantage.
- Industry certification e.g., Cisco (CCNA/CCDA and above), CISSP, AWS, Microsoft Azure or similar will be an added advantage
- Experience in sales management of ICT and enterprise solution is an added advantage
- Experience in B2B sales and operation management
- Team player, strong influence and relationship management
- Ability to engage and influence at all levels of management, internally and externally.
- Has worked in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and must have good problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
- Well-developed presentation skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (articulate) coupled with good listening and critical reasoning skills.
- Ability to create and develop efficient processes
- Project management skills
Position 4: – Corporate Account Manager-EBU
Required Technical / professional qualifications:
- Marketing, Sales, Business administration or Economics Degree, or relevant degree with over 4 years’ experience in sales, marketing, customer/account management.
- Post graduate certification in Sales & Marketing, business administration will be an added advantage.

Position 5: – Executive Head of Department – Supply Chain Enablement
Required Technical / professional qualifications:
- Degree in Technology, Engineering, Business or similar qualification
- A Graduate Diploma Qualification in Supply Chain Management is an added advantage
- At least 7-9 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Finance, Audit or similar function with responsibility for process continuous improvement, in an environment leveraging ERP and other digital capabilities for supply chain-related functions and processes.
Position 6: – Delivery Manager
Required Technical / professional qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, or other related field is preferred.
- More than five years of experience in related experience.
- Project management qualification (PMP) such as Prince 2 Practitioner or equivalent
- Significant proven Project Management experience of managing large and complex projects
- Self-motivated individual with good organizational, interpersonal, and influencing skills
- Agile experience is desirable.
- Budgets assigned on a per project basis. Tracking and reporting both CAPEX, OPEX and revenue
