Position 1: National Sales Manager – Institutional Sales
Job Summary
This position is responsible to develop business from Supermarkets, Institutions and other alternate channels like HoReCa, Corporates, NGOs to ensure profitable sales and visibility to consumers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares sales forecasts on a daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly basis in line with ABP
- Analyzes sales data in order to identify strengths and weakness of a particular promotion
- Develop creative sales technique and tactics to meet business goals.
- Networks with potential customers and business partners in an effort to promote certain products and gain new business opportunities.
- Build positive working relationship with all customers for continuous business growth
- Motivate and guide sales team to achieve revenue targets.
- Address client issues and queries in a timely manner.
- Prepare sales contracts, proposals and reports for management and customers.
- Participate in sales conferences, industry meetings, and social networks to represent company’s brand.
- He/She will have to ensure the achievement of Monthly Operating Plan in terms of primary & secondary sales both by value & volume and collection of receivables.
- He/She will be leading the effective focus on new product launch/re-launch to establish product in the market & achieve/exceed defined sales targets.
- He/she will be responsible for building market coverage strategy to generate higher revenue and locate the gap and opportunity area and getting the plan executed by the team.
- He/She will be responsible for planning and executing channel and new-town expansion.
- He/She will have to monitor merchandising standards, planogram, and product visibility in the market with dominance as per company norms
- He/She will ensure timely collection of payments with orders & timely execution of follow-ups with Factory/Distributors/Agents.
- He/She will analyze relevant business & competitor information from market.
- He/She will be submitting the relevant reports prescribed by authority & required by MIS.
- Any other related task assigned by HOD.

Position 2: Oilseeds Clusters Manager-West Gojjam Zone: Jabi Tehnan Woreda & Surrounding
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Executing the year on year oilseeds contracting plan from out-growers and the contract signature by all parties,
- Identifying key traders and their off-takers in area of coverage and proposing for contracting capable traders,
- Implementing the agronomical advisory services (Farm visits, hotline for problem solving, capacitation of local technical focal points)Implementing the demonstration plan and collecting all necessary agronomical data,
- Registering the contracted out growers agricultural information in the ERP database (traceability, software) and update the information as required by SOP from sowing to harvesting,
- Collecting inputs demand and coordinating with clients pick-up from storage,
- Ensuring the respect of post-harvest handling procedures -moisture, others seeds, small size grains, bagging, storage, pest management etc.- by contracted until delivery to the collection centers,
- Weekly monitoring of out-growers, integrators and contracted traders stock level,
- Collecting oilseeds markets data for designated area of coverage and synchronization via the traceability software,
- Delivering the trainings to all contracted partners,
- Executing the demonstration plan and coordinating the agronomical data collection (field identification, selection and contracting, implementation of package of good agricultural practices and collection of all relevant agronomical data as per the SOP),
- Supporting the execution of the R&D program and all subsequent activities (Sowing, implementation of the package of practices, monitoring, data collection etc.),
- Supporting the monitoring of the variety registration process (the proper execution of the varieties registration package of practices, managing the harvest and post-harvest sample analysis and reporting periodically on the observations and results obtained),
- Supporting the establishment of good relationships with relevant local Ethiopian administration to support the development of the oilseeds clusters (Relevant zonal/woreda stakeholders),
- Supporting the supply chain managers in the information (required for traceability software) collection and transmission to the Deputy head of clusters of oilseeds quantity and quality produced in assigned area of coverage and potential area of expansion,
Supporting the execution of promotional activities (field days, flyers distribution etc.)
EXPECTED RESULTS:
- The employee will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- The year-on-year hectarage to be contracted from out growers per oilseeds target as per the schedule define (number of contracts/month/oilseeds/subordinates over the defined contracting period) is met at hundred percent,
- The year-on-year oilseeds production target and delivery from out growers per oilseeds – in quality and quantity- as per the schedule defined (quantity and quality of grains delivered to collection center/month/oilseeds/subordinates over the defined procurement period) is met at 100%
- Timely delivery to all parties of all signed and legally binding contracts with requested supporting documents,
- All demonstration plots have been implemented with the defined package of practices as per yearly plan (number of demonstrations, types, geographical area, package of practice),
- Hundred percent of demonstration fields are used for capacity building (training, coaching etc.) and promotional purposes (field days, visit by investors, management or local/international authorities etc.)
- The agronomical data collected via traceability software have been synchronized following the frequency defined in the SOP (daily, weekly or monthly)
- Reliability and accuracy of the agronomical data collected,
- Reliability and accuracy of suppliers stock status and related action plan,
- Improvement of oilseeds crops performance (Yield, quality of the crop) and Gross Margin for contracted clusters year after year,
- Minimum crop failure due to non-respect of agronomical recommendation (wrong recommendations or non application of recommendations by the contracted),
- Number of trainings delivered and number of contracted trained as per yearly plans per agreed with manager,
- Technical improvement of technical focal persons and partners,
- Timely execution /delivery and payment of the inputs supply plan,
- Timely delivery and payment of the inputs supply plan,
- Number of participants in promotional events and quality of promotional events,
- Compliance with all SOPs of Agriculture department,
- Timely and completeness of information input in the traceability software
RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS
Work Experience:
Employee will have 5 years of experience of which at least 3 in the sector relevant to the JD.
Education:
BSC/MSc degree Plant science, Agronomy, Agribusiness and/or related fields
Language:
English, Amharic and/or Oromifa

Position 3: Senior Agronomist – Amhara
Key Tasks:
- Prospect and identify relevant geographical areas for implantation of the clusters
- Coordinating and supervising the execution of the year on year oilseeds contracting plan from out-growers and the contract signature by all relevant parties with attachment of all supporting documents . Ensuring that the contract copies are dully and timely delivered to all relevant parties.
- Ensuring and supervising the implementation of the advisory service – Pre-harvest, production, harvest and post-harvest follow-up and coaching of contractees – . Adjusting technical recommendations to client specifications and crop conditions, ensuring and supervising the implementation of package of practices by contractees.
- Supervising and ensuring the timely collection and synchronization of accurate and verifiable oilseeds fields agronomical data– Input usage, crop status & condition, package of practices, yield estimation, harvest quantity and quality etc.
- Coordinating the monitoring system to ensure the respect of post-harvest handling procedures -moisture, admixtures, bagging, storage, pest management etc.- by contractees until delivery to the collection centers
- Supervising and ensuring the execution of the demonstration plan and coordinating the agronomical data collection.
- Planning and ensuring timely delivery of relevant trainings delivery to all subordinates, focal persons and contracted partners – Pre-harvest, production, harvest and post-harvest, marketing etc.-
- Elaborating technical and economic references – Gross Margin Calculation, Profit analysis etc.- for adequate commercial development for his geographical area of coverage and relevant crops -sesame, maize, wheat, malt barley, oilseeds etc.-
- Establishing the information flow -Technical flashes, online groups etc.- and ensuring that all relevant agronomical information -Crop performance, weather forecast, key recommendations etc.- are timely and accurately delivered to management, subordinates, contractees, technical focal persons and relevant parties.
- Supporting the design the demonstration field program, planning its execution and coordinate the data collection and reporting
- Supporting the planning and ensuring the timely delivery of required inputs -seeds, fertilizer, plant protection chemicals- to contracted out-growers/integrators as per contract and as relevant.
- Supporting the elaboration and the delivery as per schedule of a critical analysis and reports on the contracted fields agronomical conditions
- Supporting the design recommend package of practices based on R&D program and collected data from agro-follow up for each major agroecology
- Supporting the development of the agronomical training content and coordinating the execution of the trainings
- Leading, motivating and training the collaborators, subordinates and partners.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Work Experience:
10 years of experience of which at least 5 in the sector relevant to the JD.
Education
BSC/MSc degree Plant science, Agronomy, Agribusiness and/or related fields
Proficiency in English, Amharic and Afan Oromo

Education & Experience
