About the Job
SAMATAR is hiring the following position
Salary: As per the organization’s scale
The candidate will maintain general ledger and reconcile accounts, process AP/AR, including foreign currency transactions and assist in month-end/year-end closing transitions. The candidate is also expected to record international payments and verify FX rates, track shipments and resolve customs discrepancies, coordinate with banks on cross-border payments. In addition the candidate will do tax & compliance tasks including but not limited to prepare and file VAT returns, support annual audits and statutory reporting as well as ensure compliance with tax laws.
About You
BA in Accounting, Management or related field
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant and Logistics Officer to manage financial records, process overseas transactions, track shipments, and handle VAT/year-end reporting. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of accounting experience with foreign trade transaction expertise.
