Position 3: MHN- Nurse
Key Areas of Accountability:
- Provide essential medical consultation service based on the IMNCI/ICCM
- Provide outreach services like EPI and ANC services.
- Support outreach campaigns like Vitamin A supplementation and deworming campaign
- Support referral linkage and system by working with referral Hospitals and PHCU.
- Ensure quality clinical care at targeted health facilities
- Provide on job technical support for the HEWs on ICCM/CBNC and other services
- Coordinate and facilitate implementation of activities and prepare weekly movement plan for SC/TFU sites
- Facilitate training and work closely with MOH staff at Health posts, Health centers, and hospital and district levels.
- Ensure children discharged from SC/TFU are transferred to nearby OTP to continue their therapeutic treatment
- Ensure Job aids are available in Health posts (HEW quick reference, Lookup table, report format, tally sheet, Plump nut, and drug stock control balance form)
- Assist HEWs in identifying patients who need to be transferred SC, patients with failure to respond to treatment, and patients who need to be discharged.
- In charge of SC quality program implementation and monthly OTP/SC activity.
- Conduct regular checklist-based supportive supervision of targeted health facilities.
- Facilitate joint monitoring visits /joint supportive supervisions/ in integration with the woreda health office.
- Generates’ and shares supervision reports and feedback for the project coordinator, woreda health office, and health facilities.

- Coordinates the link of acute malnutrition cases with CBN/CHD/TSFP/PSNP and facilitates regular registration of beneficiaries and submits on monthly bases.
- Supports referral linkage of malnourished children in between CMAM programs (OTP, SC, and TSFP).
- Ensure adequate availability of all medical and food supplies for each distribution, input into the creation and maintenance of a monthly distribution plan, and ensure stock is pre-positioned as planned with the Nutrition project coordinator and logistics team.
- Undertake individual evaluations with the team and improve gaps.
- Creates and maintains a smooth relationship with local health and other authorities and tries to link the SC program with the existing health service structure.
- Makes sure that health professionals from the health facilities participate in the daily routine work for sustainability and a smooth phase-out strategy.
- Provides technical support and training where required to all team members, and outreach team including health extension workers, HDAs, and community volunteers.
- Works and liaise with any local health workers to integrate the SC program from the start.
- Plan and organize SC/OTP/SFP at designated distribution sites in liaison with the project coordinator.
- Organizes monthly report of SC/OTP/SFP/Community mobilization and report on time to the MHNT officer and provide updates when needed.
- Provides a monthly overview of drug items, SFP materials, and wet ration stocks supplied to beneficiaries.
- Manages the stock levels of therapeutic products, drugs, and all other materials and alert the logistics in a timely manner, as more materials are required.
- Collect, analyze, and share data required for monitoring the quality of SC programs based on SPHERE standards (average weight gain, average length of stay).
- Provides technical reports on emergency health and nutrition for strengthening surveillance and public health emergency management.
- Participates in responses to public emergencies (disaster, outbreaks).
- Reports updates on humanitarian situations on implementation areas.
- Reports any problems in a timely manner to the project coordinator.
- Control and facilitate vehicle movement within the project area in the field.

Position 4: Mobile Health and Nutration Officer
Key Areas of Accountability:
- Coordinate mobile health and nutrition response package in assigned woreda with excellent liaise with primary health care unit directorate.
- Responsible to establish and lead effective mobile health and nutrition team in assigned woreda.
- Responsible for multi sectoral initial rapid assessment data collection and analysis when needed.

Position 5: WaSH Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Under the general guidance of WASH Coordinator, the officer will undertake the following duties.
- Conduct water, sanitation and hygiene need of assessment and analysis independently/ collaboration with partners and local government sectors.
- Undertake field visits and surveys, collect and share reports with partners/stakeholders. Report critical issues, bottlenecks and potential problems to supervisor, for timely action.
- Conduct design of the project water supply schemes, hygiene and sanitation facilities to the standard.
- Involve in the project contract administration of WASH facilities that will be implemented and/or sub contracted for private contractors.
- Supervise and be responsible for all the technical aspect for project implementation, make sure that contractors complete project work in a timely, efficient and accurate manner with respect to standard engineering.
- Ensure community involvement at all phases of the project and the development of community ownership of the project.
- Guarantee the respect of construction standards as well as the safety practices at the project site.
- Provide feedback to the monitoring and evaluation system in order to assess the effectiveness and the impact of the projects and propose recommendations for improvement.
- Facilitate and maintain a good professional relationship between SCI, communities, government sectors and partners.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Essentials
BSc. Degree in Water Engineering, Hydraulic, Water Resources, Water Supply and sanitation Civil engineering and other related fields.
Minimum of 3 years of proven and progressive work experience, preferably in NGOs.
Proficient in computer skills (MS word, Excel, Power Point, Auto Cad & Water Cad)
Fluency in English and Afan Oromo language both spoken and written.

Position 6: FSL Officer
Key Areas of Accountability:
- To ensure the selected beneficiaries for both MPC and Animal treatment as well as supplementary feeding will be registered on paper (although there will be a database of beneficiary profiles) and provided with cards for future verification and monitoring purposes
- Conduct Beneficiary verification and registration simultaneously or during separate community visits. The Beneficiary Registration List is a critical document, linking specific beneficiaries to their cash transfers
- Plan and integrate evidence from the Cash project into concurrent programming and future planning and resilience building program for development and replication;
- To increase child sensitivity, the MPC should be linked to key services for children such as health, nutrition protection, and education.
- To help ensure that the MPC meets children’s needs, SCI will strengthen existing/establish community-based case management systems/ structures to support better follow-up, monitoring, and referrals for children to specific services.
- The MPC will also be accompanied by a strong SBCC component to influence behavior and decision-making for children’s well-being at the household level
- Provideprovide supplementary animal feed (total mixed ration-TMR) to households
- Will support a targeted voucher-based animal treatment service delivery system along with supplementary livestock feeds
- Awareness raising on the importance of destocking, and conditional supplementary animal feed transfer linking to destocking
- Identify interested private livestock traders, bringing together the livestock traders and beneficiaries
- Support voucher-based animal treatment service along with supplementary livestock feed to improve utilization of the feed. The households targeted for supplementary livestock feed will also receive voucher-based animal treatment service
- Incorporate analysis and lessons learned into new strategies, proposals, and activities.
- Support learning from relevant best practices internally and externally, especially Save the Children International’s child-sensitive livelihood guidelines (particularly on implementing livelihood and other programs to strengthen better outcomes for children);
- Ensure programming interventions are implemented in cooperation with targeted communities, and include the participation of children in their design
- In cooperation and synergy with the project staff, plans and monitors the activities progress, in compliance with the donor regulations and contract signed with the donor, with donor’s and Save the Children ’s procedures, and with the specific Project Structure and Reporting Lines definition, making use of the financial instruments provided by the organization;
- In collaboration with the Administrative and the Logistics team, plans and monitors the expenditures in line with the project’s implementation needs;
- In cooperation with the Program Coordinator, finalizes the data provided by his/her team, supports the preparation, in compliance with the deadlines, of the narrative reports expected by the donors and by the partners;
- Represents SC with the local / State authorities and partners at Coordination meeting
- Manages the goods purchased for the project; for all goods purchased by the project, support updates of the inventory and guarantee the respect of the policies and guidelines, in cooperation wit the Logistics Office;
Qualifications:
BA degree in food security/nutrition and /or Humanitarian/ Development Studies or any related field.
Experience and Skills:
- At least 3 years of working experience in/with INGO. In the FSL area. Experience managing projects is a +
- Proven interest & commitment to humanitarian and development principles and a demonstrable understanding of conflict/post-conflict development contexts
- Experience in data collection, analysis, and report writing including post-distribution monitoring (PDM)
