Position 1: IYCF Officer
QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Human Nutrition, Midwifery, Public Health, or similar fields.
Minimum 4 years’ field experience in humanitarian work, including significant experience in managing CMAM & IYCF programs.
Substantial experience of community-based nutrition projects.
Demonstrated ability for leadership and independent decision-making.
Strong interpersonal skills & excellent team player.
Willingness and ability to work in hardship environment.
Cultural and gender sensitivity.
Knowledge of the local language is Mandatory.
EXPEREINCE
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
Diploma/Degree in nutrition or health with minimum two years working experience with NGOs.
Working experience of one year in IMAM program or PHC program.
Experience in health and nutrition programs.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITY
The position holder must have excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility and Relations to his team members.
The position holder must have an ability that he can manage when it comes to reach hard decisions to across the barrier.
The position holder should have a good interrelation ship with others and must now local language (Somali)

Position 2: WaSH Officer
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
BA / BSc Degree or more in Water Engineering, Environmental Health, Sanitary Engineering, Hydraulics and Water Resource Development and other related fields
At least 2 years’ relevant project management experiences in emergencies, or WASH related projects in international NGOs or similar organizations.
Understanding of and experience in the project implementation techniques, participatory planning, implementation and monitoring basic practices;
Experience in assessment, design, bill of quantity preparation and hygiene promotion tools in WASH
Proven skills on managing changes, achieving results, ensuring quality, team building and capacity building.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including cultural sensitivity, assertiveness and negotiating skills.
Ability and willingness to work in remote rural areas and under pressure as part of a professional team
Prepare terms of reference and contractual agreements with contractors.
Experience in developing and monitoring budgets
Computer literate in word processing, excel packages and internet use
An understanding of child rights and their protection and fulfilment in the development context.
Desirable
Knowledge of the area, socio-culture and local language where the post is located as an added advantage.
Demonstrated expertise in both hard and software implementation of WASH in emergency situation.

Position 3: FSL Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree/BA degree in food security/nutrition and /or Humanitarian/ Development Studies or any related field.
AND EXPERIENCE AND SKILL
At least 3 years of working experience in/with INGO. In the FSL area. Experience managing cash intervention projects.
Proven interest & commitment to humanitarian and development principles and a demonstrable understanding of conflict/post-conflict development contexts
Excellent in written and spoken English.
Ability to plan, organize work, communicate and report effectively (both in writing and verbally)
Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Team player, effective communicator, successful negotiator, creative and analytical thinker, active learner, able to work in a multicultural environment.
Excellent communication skills, calm, with a good sense of working in an inter-cultural environment.
Proven commitment to accountability practices
Ability to function effectively under stressful conditions such as heavy workloads, and deadlines.

Position 4: MEAL Coordinator
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
BA/ MSc/MA degree in an area of statistics, economics, social science or equivalent. MA/MSc preferred.
Minimum of five years, and three years NGO management experience in a MEAL role in both emergency and development contexts, preferably with solid experience in more than one of the following priority sectors: education, protection, rights governance, HIV/AIDs, health and nutrition, and emergencies
Direct experience of rolling out and managing MEAL systems and of working on all aspects of MEAL
Demonstrated commitment to building staff capacity, skills in training and capacity building.
Experience of solving complex issues through analysis, definition of a clear way forward and ensuring buy in
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
· Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including influencing, negotiation and coaching
Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures

Ensure MEAL evidence (IPTT, project performance/action trackers, etc) are used for management decision-making and continuous performance improvement and be part of the field office level management team members/

Experienced in nutrition and health program implementation –data collection and compilation, working with counterpart for lasting intervention, training of health workers, etc.
Good written and spoken ability of the local language.
Extremely flexible, able to work independently, and have the ability to cope with stressful situations and frustrations.
Interest in and ability to work in team.
Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability and willingness to work in remote and potentially insecure environments.

Preferable if a candidate has at least one year of experience with CPIMS+ (Child Protection Information Management System).
Minimum of one years’ working experience with CPIMS+ (Child Protection Information Management System) and humanitarian, child-focused (preferably an International or national NGO);
