Position 1: Supply Chain Director
Qualifications and Experience:
- MSc/MA degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Humanitarian Logistics and other related fields.
- Professional certification in Procurement i.e. CIPS or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 12 years’ progressive practical experience in the field out of which 5 years at high level managerial/directorial position
- Proven and significant experience in international procurement and contract management, financial knowledge including an ability to review procurement demands and trends, and to develop strategies to fill identified gaps.
- Field level experience in Supply Chain for INGOs in international development and emergency programmes
- Knowledge of key institutional donors and their compliance requirements in respect of Supply Chain and procurement
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including influencing, negotiation, and coaching.
- Experience of solving complex issues through analysis, definition of a clear way forward and ensuring buy in.
- Commitment to Save the Children values.
- Ability and willingness to change work practices and hours in the event of major emergencies including travelling at short notice and for extended periods of time
- Highly organised with good administration skills for order and information management, able to develop filing systems and databases to ensure an auditable trail.
- A high level of computer literacy (word, excel, ppt etc).

Position 2: Health and Nutrition officer
Qualifications and Experience:
ESSENTIAL:
- BSC in Public Health or Nursing
- Desirable MPH in any field of Public Health
- Minimum 5 (five) years working experience and with more than 1 year NGOs experience
- Experience in Integrated Pharmaceuticals Logistics System (IPLS)
- Sphere standards trainings
- Experience MNCH in emergencies
- Demonstrable ability on report writing and excellent communication skills
- Willingness to travel frequently and flexible to adapt changes
- Good Computer skills in Microsoft word, excel, power point and internet explorer
- Fluency in in written and spoken English and local languages
- Excellent interpersonal skill and able to work in a multicultural team
- Passionate about improving the lives of children
- Non-discriminatory and gender sensitive
- Commitment to SCI values
Desired
- Work experience in humanitarian emergencies, NGOs
- Fluent in oral and written English and Tigrigna
- Good knowledge of quality standards and quality controls related to medical practice

Position 4: FSL Community Facilitator
Minimum Qualfication, Expereince, Competencies:
Education qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Economics, and other similar social and natural science studies.
Work Experience:
At least 2 years of experience implementing livelihoods and economic strengthening programs required, with significant experience/one year in NGO supporting diverse economic strengthening activities such as cash and food distribution activities.
Knowledge Skills and Ability:
- Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as the proven ability to work collaboratively with organizations and stakeholders. Experience working with private sector, government agencies and beneficiaries on livelihoods programs.
- Ability to travel throughout the focus kebeles of the woreda and other rural areas as needed.
- An understanding and commitment to work to achieve the intended objective
- Ability to manage complex and demanding workload.
- Experiences in community mobilization in support of agriculture and economic strengthening programs.
- Knowledge and learning ability to integrate gender issues in agriculture and livelihood interventions.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as the proven ability to work collaboratively with many organizations and stakeholders. Experience working with private sector, government agencies and beneficiaries on livelihoods programs.
- An understanding and commitment to Save the Children values
- Computer, communication, team work and interpersonal skills.
- Able to spoken and written in English languages.
- Knowledge of local language is mandatory.
