Position 1: Roving Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WaSH) Advisor (Re-advert)
Qualifications:
- BSc Degree in Engineering fields- hydraulic, Water resource, Civil, Environmental, or public health engineering-related fields,
- Additional certifications/Diploma in behavioral change, IEC/BCC, public health promotion, IPC, epidemic and emergency WaSH Programming have added value
Experience and Skills:
- A minimum of ten years of experience working in the humanitarian water, hygiene, and sanitation field in emergency response.
- Advanced knowledge of water and sanitation engineering and training in the use of a variety of water equipment including emergency water treatment and storage units, sanitation kits, water treatment chemicals, design of boreholes, construction/rehabilitation of water wells, springs, pipe networks, basic knowledge of green water solutions & solar water systems.
- Proven experience with WaSH in institutions, epidemics, IPC, and integrated WaSH programming framework
- Knowledge of humanitarian-nexus concepts, climate resilient WaSH programming, and expertise in designing & implementing Integrated Water Resource Management and Multiple Water Use
- Previous experience in Programme, design, implementation & management.
- Ensures that systems are in place for longer-term operation and maintenance of all water supply and sanitation facilities and that projects are implemented in a consultative and participatory manner with beneficiaries.
- Demonstrated depth and breadth in participatory methods to engage local communities in needs assessments, design, and implementation of local, culturally acceptable water and sanitation interventions.
- Support the long-term capacity building and programmatic integration of water and sanitation into Save the Children’s core programming in health, with particular emphasis on hygiene promotion and environmental sanitation.
- Commitment to, thorough understanding of, and ability to train staff in participation and accountability approaches.
- Guide water and sanitation teams towards an integrated approach with other Save the Children programs to address community health needs, as well as cross-cutting themes such as gender.
- Demonstrated ability to set up monitoring & evaluation systems in large complex programs.
- Demonstrated ability to set up learning and development processes.
- Proven ability in mentoring and coaching.
- Experience at technical level representation and in developing and negotiating successful partnerships with donors.
- Ability to write clear and well-argued assessments and project reports in English.

Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum BA degree in Human Resource, Business Administration and/or Management. M.A. degree in relevant field of study is preferable.
- 8 years of relevant experience as generalist, out of which 3 years of experience at managerial or Specialist or on a more senior HR role
- Experience of dealing with difficult and sensitive situations in a diplomatic and professional manner
- Experience working in a large and complex organizational set up
- Experience in staff management.

Position 3: Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Officer
Required Qualifications:
Education: BSc in Clinic nursing, Midwifery, Clinical psychologies, Health officer
Required Experience:
- Two years’ relevant experience for degree holders and four years of experience for Diploma holders.
- Additional certificate on, SGBV, GBV, MHPSS and clinical rape management is an asset.
- Experience MHPSS, GBV with NGOs working in the area clinical rape management, emotional resilience for front line health workers, women centre in emergency health response prevention of sexual exploitations
- With proven experience in supervising, coaching and mentoring.
- Knowledge and understanding of community-based child protection mechanisms, national protection systems, and technical knowledge on child protection monitoring and evaluation
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including influencing, negotiation and coaching

Position 6: Senior Research, M&E & Knowledge Management Specialist
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, Public Health, M&E or related field; Recommended a minimum of 10 years related work experience in the areas of nutrition and nutrition-related program monitoring & evaluation and research, policy formulation and data analysis preferably in the NGO environment
- Experience in working with government counterparts, COSs and other partners at various levels – federal to district within the framework of nutrition.
- Experience of designing and managing knowledge management systems, an awareness of learning methodologies and experience of leading learning events
- Experience on M&E methods, qualitative & quantitative data collection and analysis
- Experience in provision of technical support, capacity-building and coordination
- Experience of coalition building, forum coordination and working with civil society actors to deliver change;

Position 7: Roving ECSC-SUN Senior Gender Advisor
Qualification:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Gender and Gender Development Studies or related degree with focus on Nutrition, Public Health or related area with equivalent experience. (Master’s degree preferred)
Work Experience:
- Recommended a minimum of Ten-year experience in development contexts, preferably with solid experience on gender transformative nutrition programming and women empowerment program design, implementation and operational research.
- Skills in designing and implementing gender integration policy and strategy at different institutional level.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of women empowerment and gender transformative nutrition programming principles, practice and policy priorities impacting women and adolescent in Ethiopia.

Ability to prepare and facilitate technical evidence and learning training and workshops across countries in the region (including remotely).
