Horti-LIFE (HL) is funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (EKN) and implemented by SNV-Ethiopia in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture. The aim is to contribute to the horticulture sector growth and reduce malnutrition by strengthening the extension service to improve the production, productivity, and food safety in the horticultural sector in gender-balanced and nutrition-sensitive way.
SNV NGO would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.
Position: Project Intern – Energy Engineer
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Technology, or related field preferably fresh graduate.
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
Demonstrated computer skills, especially with MS Excel and data tools.
Basic knowledge of drawing/design software and converting files into usable formats.
Familiarity with stove performance testing and clean cooking technologies is an asset.
Other Competencies:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Strong ethical conduct and respect for confidentiality.
Alignment with SNV’s mission and values.
Additional Information
Contract Type: National, Full-time
Expected start date: As soon as possible
Duty Station: Addis Ababa
