Position 1: Project MEAL Officer
Job Requirements
Must Criteria:
- BA/BSC Degree in Sociology, Economics, Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Development studies, social sciences, Statistics, and/or other relevant fields or other relevant field; )
- A minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in managing and executing Monitoring and Evaluation activities for donor-funded projects
- Oral and written fluency in English
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team player
- Excellent understanding of computer applications
Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Demonstrated understanding of direct monitoring and evaluation experience, specifically in the humanitarian and development context.
- Hands-on experience in developing/designing, and implementing monitoring and evaluating system/plan
- Knowledge on quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and its applications
- Demonstrated experience in consortium project interventions
- Understanding of M&E
- Have profound analytical and research skill.
- Excellent computer knowledge with command on MS Excel, database and SPSS among other packages
- Willing to undertake regular field visits and interact with different stakeholders, especially primary stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication, facilitation and writing skills
- Time management and ability to priorities multiple tasks, Self-motivated person and able to work without close supervision.
- Should be honest, ready to continuously learn, inclusive, result oriented & initiated to work
- Proficiency in English language (both in writing and speaking)
- NGO experience is advantageous

Position 2: Program Accountant
Job Requirements
Must Criteria
Education: BA Degree in Accounting
Experience: 2 years relevant work experience
Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Report writing skill
- Strong set of personal values including integrity, honesty and desire to be of service
- Ease of using computers with mastery on application soft wares such as MS Work, MS Windows, and MS Excel.
- Proficiency in English language (both in writing and speaking)
- Should be honest, ready to continuously learn, inclusive, result oriented & initiated to work
- NGO experience is advantageous

Position 3: Project MHPSS Officer
Job Requirements
Must Criteria
- Education: BSc degree in Psychology, Social work, Nursing and Sociology or related field with at least 4 years of counselling, Trauma healing and social work experience at NGO
- Who have experience of working in trauma healing process
- Who have experience in play therapy services or practices
- Who have certificate in MHPSS training/ Trauma healing skill training
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in MHPSS/ Trauma healing practice /counseling or working with highly vulnerable children who lost their parents or are unaccompanied
- Exprience in community-based child protection approaches
- Experience and ability to work in humanitarian or emergency context
Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Ability to analyze protection issues, and risks and organize timely responses.
- In-depth knowledge and experience of mental health and psychosocial interventions in a humanitarian response context, tailored to care for Gender-Based Violence is essential.
- Additional training on issues of mental health, trauma healing and psychosocial support.
- Report writing skill
- Should be honest, ready to continuously learn, inclusive, result oriented & initiated to work

Position 4: Project MHPSS Coordinator
Job Requirements
Must Criteria:
- MA, Degree, BA, Degree or equivalent qualification in psychology, sociology, social work or related.
- Minimum of 3/5 years relevant work experience as MHPSS Project Coordinator
- Who have experience in coordinating Trauma healing/counseling center
- Who have certificate in MHPSS / Trauma healing skill training
- Experience in project management, monitoring and evaluation.
- Excellent command of English languages and good communication skills, including both written and verbal. Preferably fluent in the language(s) spoken in the program’s target communities.
- Positive and professional approach: highly organized, able to work independently, using initiative and keeping commitments, leading a team;
- Good knowledge of children’s rights.
- Awareness and understanding of social development issues including gender, education, health, HIV/AIDS, etc.
- Basic financial skills.
- Basic human resource development skills.
- Basic computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, and power point)
- Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Understanding of child rights issues: knowledge in the area of child rights, child protection, child development and family & community development; knowledge of relevant local and national laws, regulations and protocols.
- MHPSS skills to build the capacities of families, children and partner organizations.
- Leadership: able to build effective teams, motivate high performance, and generate commitment to the program goals.
- Communication & networking skills: ability to foster effective relationships with the key stakeholders of the program including the local authorities, community leadership, partner organizations and participating families. Ability to represent the organization externally.
- Collaboration: driven to work with others, able to build partnerships and networks internally and externally.
- Functional skills: financial management, HR management, project cycle management
- Should be honest, ready to continuously learn, inclusive, result oriented & initiated to work
- NGO experience is advantageous

Position 5: Digital Fundraiser (Volunteer)
Must Criteria
Education: Level VI certificate or above in Marketing Management, Management, Public Relations, Communications and another related field of study
Excipriance: Previous fundraising, marketing (telemarketing) or sales experience (preferred)

- Innovative thinking and resourcefulness
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain professional relationships and negotiation skills
- Experience in sales or marketing, with a proven track record of achieving targets

- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings, as required for events

- Passionate and knowledgeable about the NGO Sector in Ethiopia
- Willingness to learn and understand the programs and work of the SOS-CV, campaigns.
