Sun Optical Technologies Plc would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following positions.

Position 1: Sales and Marketing Representative

Responsibilities:

  • Define prospects and activate sales at the clinic
  • Brand presence in clinic: actively managing and optimizing brand presence by negotiating and increasing brand visibility (on shelf and at window display).
  • Ensuring adequate level of assortment: depth and width, facing, product display.
  • Ensuring stock is at an adequate level in the POS of the clinic territory and support in stock management administration process.
  • Allocating adequate POP material to each clinic.
  • Helping customers select the correct frame for their lenses
  • Developing a strong working relationship with opticians, clinic managers and doctors
  • Achieving monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets set for each assigned brand.
  • Explaining offers and products to customers
  • Defining work plan based on sales cycle priorities and activities.
  • Increasing the number of customers by reaching new prospects in line with the brand distribution guidelines.

Required: 20 (Twenty)

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
  • B.A in Marketing or related field is a plus,
  • Understanding of the retail sales process
  • Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
  • Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships

Position 2: Digital Marketer

Digital Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

  • Designing and overseeing all aspects of our digital marketing department including our marketing database, email, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Developing and monitoring campaign budgets.
  • Planning and managing our social media platforms.
  • Preparing accurate reports on our marketing campaign’s overall performance.
  • Coordinating with advertising and media experts to improve marketing results.
  • Identifying the latest trends and technologies affecting our industry.
  • Evaluating important metrics that affect our website traffic, service quotas, and target audience.
  • Working with your team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies.
  • Overseeing and managing all contests, giveaways, and other digital projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a digital marketing or advertising position.
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required.
  • Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.

Position 3: Accountant

Objectives of this role:

  • Execute accurate reporting, enabling the department to analyze options and make financial recommendations that align with company objectives. ( In terms of Management on Corporate customers and Customer Invoicing ).
  • Guide the company corporate customers in securing our financial information, , and spearhead or participate in special activities as needed within the department, within a broader finance environment, and/or cross-functionally.
  • Periodically document all accounting control procedures, identifying system issues and making suggestions for improvements.

 Responsibilities:

  • Gather all necessary reports and detailed support both periodically and on demand, in relation to corporate customers.
  • Ensure the integrity of accounting information and reconcile any financial discrepancies by performing or directing forensic research of accounting issues for compliance, and establish quality control for transactions and reporting
  • Handle AP, verifying payment documentation, referencing outstanding bills, updating debt balance, and conducting disbursement.
  • Review and reconcile the general ledger, identifying and thoroughly investigating any discrepancies and taking the proper actions to resolve them
  • Conduct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to verify all entries have been created as on both parties.
  • Manage administrative staff within the department and transfer accounting/reporting knowledge to other departments

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Two or more years of corporate accounting experience
  • Personal integrity; ability to keep customer and company confidences
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures

 Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in accounting, business accounting, or finance
  • Working knowledge of accounting software platforms
  • Working  knowledge on Microsoft office specially excel 
  • Strong command of details and deadlines

Position 4: HR Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for an HR manager to lead our HR team. You will take ownership of all HR matters across the company from recruitment to performance reviews, wage reviews, disciplinary action, and learning and development. To perform well in this role you should have experience as an HR manager, or other senior roles in the HR team, and knowledge around all legal requirements in this role.

HR Manager Responsibilities:

  • Consistently recruiting excellent staff.
  • Maintaining a smooth onboarding process.
  • Training, counseling, and coaching our staff.
  • Resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
  • Carrying out necessary administrative duties.
  • Conducting performance and wage reviews.
  • Developing clear policies and ensuring policy awareness.
  • Creating clear and concise reports.
  • Giving helpful and engaging presentations.
  • Maintaining and reporting on workplace health and safety compliance.
  • Handling workplace investigations, disciplinary, and termination procedures.
  • Maintaining employee and workplace privacy.
  • Leading a team of junior human resource managers.

Required: 1(One)

HR Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2yrs Experience in human resources or related field.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
  • Experience in educating and coaching staff.
  • Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
  • Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy.
  • Ability to give presentations.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws.
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Position 5: Stock Accountant

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining, controlling stocks in the factories to ensure efficiency and safe handling of all the materials and items in the store.
  • Reconciling inventory accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock.
  • Performing counts on both purchases and sale before delivering or receiving.
  • Placing and receiving orders of raw materials as per the demand and ensuring they do not exceed the budget.
  • Filing the goods receiving voucher, store issue voucher, and store transfer note after ensuring they are recorded and numbered correctly.
  • Posting incoming and outgoing stock into the system.
  • Preparing weekly, monthly and annual reports for raw materials purchased, work in progress and finished goods.

Required: 3

Qualification:

  • BA Degree in Accounting
  • Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
  • At least 2 years’ experience in store keeping, inventory control, or record keeping
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge in Excel and an ERP software
  • English speaking candidate is preferred
  • Ladies are strongly recommended to appl
