Transsion Manufacturing PLC would like to invite qualified and interested job seekers to apply for the following different positions.

Position 1: Occupational Health Advisor

Job Summary:

Occupational Health Advisers develop, implement and evaluate health risk management policies and programs, train employees in occupational health procedures, provide basic healthcare needs to a company’s employees and monitor and record the patient’s medical cases.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer first aid treatments and provide basic healthcare needs to a company’s employees and assist all injured employees to the nearest hospital as needed.
  • Provide consultancy for potential occupational illnesses and injuries, including appropriate monitoring and reporting.
  • Provide Occupational Health advice and guidance to departmental Managers on sickness, absence and rehabilitation issues.  Work closely with HR and manager to ensure successful rehabilitation case management of individuals including restrictions of duties
  • Monitor and record the patient’s medical condition
  • Maintain clinic records and reports and ensures that policy on retention of said documents are implemented.
  • Interpret and evaluate diagnostic test based on the verification of medical certificates
  • Secure and ensure that the sick employees submit a “fit to work” certificate
  • Plan and implement the medical examination and executive check-up of regular employees.
  • Replenish medical supplies; monitor the stock inventory of medicines and other necessary supplies from time to time and prepare purchase application in advance
  • Responsible for keeping clinic equipment’s and supplies.
  • Organize company-wide meetings to discuss general healthcare tips and recommendations by evaluating company employee’s health related to their work environment.
  •   Prepare a proposal recommendation to upper management about new healthcare initiatives that the company can implement to lower healthcare costs.
  • Develop occupational health procedures, policies and perform evaluation of these in relation to the business objectives
  • Design and provision of focused health promotion and education for employees,
  • conduct a training that will raise/improve employees health care awareness
  • Temporary task: Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by superior

Education, Certification and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in occupational health or BSC in  Nursing  or any health related fields.
  • First Aid training completion certification
  • Work experience in Occupational Health, as an Occupational Health Advisor.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent knowledge of occupational health
  • Comprehensive understanding and application of medical confidentiality, ethics, and accountability.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the principles and practice of data protection and confidentiality in OH
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Case Management and provision of OH advice
  • General medicals and health surveillance
  • Flexible and hard working
  • Visible commitment to excellence in practice
  • Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Strong presentation skill

Emotional intelligence: The ability to perceive the emotional state of individuals and groups; the ability to modify one’s own verbal and non-verbal mannerisms to engage and build trust

Workplace: Addis Ababa -ICT Park

Position 2: – Management Trainee- Sales, Marketing and Engineering

Management Trainee Program:

The major objective of this Management  trainee program is to empower fresh graduates and prepare them for future leadership career .

Responsibilities:

  • Participating in class room or on-the-job training actively.
  • Participating in meetings, workshops, and team-building events.
  • Compiling reports and making presentations
  • Providing new ideas for improvement of our operation
  • Bringing positive energy into the company, and build enduring professional relationships with customers and staff.

Required Education:

BA/BSc Degree graduate in Engineering :-Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Software and related, Marketing, Management, Economics ,Accounting and other related qualification from reputable universities in 2022/2023 with CGPA of above 2.5 for both Male & Female.
