USA Embassy Addis Ababa would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.
Position 1: Public Engagement Specialist (Emerging Voices)
Option 1:
Education:- University degree in communications, education, international affairs, American or intercultural studies, marketing or related major is required
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of four (4) years
of experience is required, with communications, public engagement
management, or education/training duties as components of the work.
Prior experience in an international, academic, or governmental work
environment is required. At least one (1) year of supervisory experience is required
Option 2:
Education: Two years of University Study in any field is required.
Experience: A minimum of six (6) years of experience is required, with communications, public engagement management, or education/training duties as components of the work. Prior experience in an international, academic, or governmental work environment is required. At least one (1) year of supervisory experience is required.
LANGUAGE: Fluency in Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required. Fluency in Speaking/Reading/Writing in Amharic is required. (These will be tested)
Salary: USD $21,803 /Per Year
Duty Location(s): 1 Vacancy in Addis Ababa, ET
Position 2: Custodian
EDUCATION: Education: Completion of primary school is required.
Note: Please upload all work experience copies of yours under “Other Document 1 or 2”
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of six months of custodial or housekeeping experience is required.

LANGUAGE:
Amharic level II Reading/Speaking/writing is required. (This may be tested)
English level I Reading/ Speaking/writing is required. (This may be tested)
Salary: USD $3,415/Per Year
Duty Location(s): 1 Vacancy in Addis Ababa, ET
Position 3: Gardener
EDUCATION: Completion of primary school is required.
Note: Please upload all work experience copies of yours under “Other Document 1 or 2”
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of two (2) years of gardening experience is required.
Note: Please upload all copies of your Education under “High school completion”
LANGUAGE: I (Rudimentary knowledge) Reading/Writing/Speaking English is required. II (Limited knowledge) Reading/Writing/Speaking Amharic is required. (These will be tested).
Salary: USD $4,733 /Per Year
