Position: Project Management Specialist (Strategic Information Cluster Lead)
JOB SUMMERY
Basic Functions: The USAID Project Management Specialist (Strategic Information Cluster Lead/Senior Strategic Information Advisor) is located in the Health Office, Operations Team. The incumbent serves as the team’s senior advisor on strategic information and monitoring, evaluation, and learning (SI/MEL) and ensures that the Mission has the necessary strategic, technical, and management expertise to handle and successfully implement M&E in its Health activities
JOB REQUIREMENT
Qualifications required: Minimum of master’s degree in public health, Statistics, Epidemiology, Health Informatics, Demography/Population Studies, Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Sciences, or related fields. Minimum of 7 (Seven) years of progressively responsible technical experience in health management information systems, data management for health programs, monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL). Experience in evaluation of program/project/activity implementation, experience in direct program/project/activity management, or in a closely related activity. At least three years of this experience should be in data management in a development-oriented workplace, or a related field and which included project design, performance monitoring, and/or the analysis and interpretation of large amounts of data. Experience and demonstrated proficiency using software applications in analyzing sector data and translating into practice. Prior management or supervisory experience leading a team and portfolio of a similar size and complexity.
Salary Range: The salary range of the position is FSN -12; $29,075 – $52,355 yearly, articulated in U.S. dollars but paid in Birr.
