The company is now wants to recruit qualified and competent applicant on the following job position.
Wasasa Microfinance S.C. was established by Oromo Self-Reliance Association (OSRA), a local NGO and got a Microfinancing Business License No. MFI/017/2000 from National Bank of Ethiopia on September 20, 2000. Since then the Company has been working with poor communities (mainly the rural poor) by providing savings and credit services; it currently has 51 Branches and 24 Rural Banks which are operating in 58 Woredas of Oromia Regional State with a plan to expand every year.
Wasasa Microfinance would like to invites competent, Qualified and interested candidates for the following positions.
Position 1: IT Auditor
Minimum Qualifications:
BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related IT field.
Minimum of 4 (four) years of relevant work experience, including at least 2 (two) years specifically in IT and systems auditing.
Language Proficiency:
Strong written and spoken proficiency in English and Afan Oromo is required.
Salary: As per the salary scale of the institution.
Duty Station: Head Office – Sebeta, Alem Gena
Position 2: Customer Service Officer I
Education:
BA Degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, or related fields.
Work Experience:
Not required; relevant experience is an advantage.
Other:
Exit Exam mandatory (where applicable), MS Office skills, and proficiency in Amharic & Afaan Oromo.
Required Number: 8 (Eight)
Salary: As per company scale.
Location: Branches in The Oromia Regional State & Addis Ababa.
Position 3: Branch I Manager
Education:
BA Degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, Banking & Finance, or related fields.
Experience:
5 years relevant work experience.
Other:
MS Office skills, proficiency in Amharic & Afaan Oromo.
Required Number: 6(Six)
Salary: As per company scale.
Location: Branches in The Oromia Regional State & Addis Ababa.
Deadline: October 18, 2025
