Position 1: Zonal Food Distribution Coordinator
Major Responsibility:
- Lead and coordinate the implementation of WFP food assistance support activities and take all the necessary steps to make sure program implementation is in accordance with the objectives or purpose of the program.
- Warehouse Management, Commodity Transportation and Food Distribution Management
- Lead and maintain a smooth and productive relationship with local government partners at Woreda and Zonal level for effective implementation of WFP GFD & TSFP projects in South Tigray zones
- Finance/Budgeting Management
- Commodity tracking (Reporting and Accountability).
- Monitoring and Compliance Activities
- Personnel Management and Team Lead ship
Required Professional Experience
3-5 Years of extensive exposure to food aid programs (minimum 3 years) & knowledge of commodities & logistics operations, preferably within Food Assistance Operation, specifically those that relate to food distributions, warehousing, reporting, tracking, monitoring etc…
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
MA/MSc or BA/BSc Degree in Food Science, Agric. Econ, Disaster Management, Rural Development and other relates fields
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and working understanding on Emergency Food resource management.
- Demonstrated capacity to lead the team with similar scope of work.
- Experience in food assistance programing, Grants/project management, Market assessment and Analysis, Cash transfer programing, performance management, project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing.
- Good understanding of Humanitarian Accountability standards
- Good knowledge of local context
- INGO experience
- Ability to work in high tension and high security risk situations.
- Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment.
- Experience and knowledge of USAID funded emergency food assistance projects, Red Cross code of Conduct, SPHERE Standard and HAP

Position 2: Verifier/Data Clerk/Distributers
Required Professional Experience
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in relief and/or any emergency response program interventions implementation
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
BA/BSc Degree in Agric. Econ, Disaster Management, Rural Development, and Economics &Dev’s. Studies
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
Experience in integrated project design, implementation and monitoring.
Familiarity with major donor programs- WFP and USAID.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skill including influencing and negotiation.
Good level of computer literacy (word, excel, power point and outlook).
Travel and/or Work
Environment Requirement Office-based with periodic travel to the field Physical Requirements Physically Fit

BA/BSc Degree in Education, Agricaltural Economics, Disaster Management, Rural Development, and Economics & Dev’s. Studies
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
Experience in integrated supervisory, implementation and monitoring.
Familiarity with major donor programs- WFP and USAID.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skill including influencing and negotiation.
Good level of computer literacy (word, excel, power point and outlook).

Position 6: MEAL Coordinator
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
Qualification required: BA/BSc/MA/MSc Degree in Social sciences, Development Studies and related fields.
Preferably, MA/MSc/MBA/MSW or BA/BSc Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies and related fields
Highly skilled in data analysis using computer packages like Epi-info, SPSS, Power BI, Mobile Data Collection Tool, Advanced MS-Excel;
Required Professional Experience:
Work Experience: 5+ years in relevant field and NGOs experience
Good understanding of Transformational Development/TD
At least five years’ work experience in NGO environment development-related field
- Understanding of World Vision’s development programs;
- Good presentation, communication, networking and partnering skills;
- Participatory Program and Project Designing, Monitoring and Evaluation Experience;
- A strong aptitude for organizational change, innovation, learning, team building;

Position 7: CMAM Officer
Required Professional Experience
Minimum three years working experience with NGOs in CMAM program, specific to OTP/SC
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification.
BSc degree in Public Health/ Clinical Nursing/Nutrition and related health field of study preferred from accredited universities or health colleges
Certificates on
- Acute malnutrition 2019 revised guideline training
- Revised 2019 IMAM guideline training
- Integrated Pharmaceuticals Logistics System (IPLS)
- Trained on Family MUAC approach.
- SMART survey basic training
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
- Knowledge, training and experience in management of MAM and SAM with/without medical complication
- Demonstrated skills in CMAM program planning, implementation and monitoring.
- Experience in cascading family MUAC approach
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good human relation skills
- Willingness to work under pressure and extra hours.
- Willingness and capacity to be flexible and accommodating when faced with difficult and frustrating working conditions.
- Strong adherence to World Vision values
- Strong character traits, including emotional stability, adaptability, ability to handle stress, cultural and gender sensitivity and integrity.
- Prepared to live and work in a remote and uncertain security environment.
- Fluent in oral and written English

Position 8: Gender Based Violence and Mental health and Psychosocial support Coordinator
Required Professional Experience
Minimum of five years’ experience for BA and three years for MA graduates in, Gender-based violence, Child protection and related areas, program/project development and management in emergency context is required. Proven experience in designing and implementing GBVIE and MHPSS trainings to a variety of stakeholders. Direct case management and experience working with children, women and adolescents is an asset. Knowledge and experience on Gender Based Violence programming including prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA), MPHPSS is required.
Required Education training, license, registration, and certification.
Extensive training in the fields of GBV, MHPSS, Case management and application of international technical guidelines
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
First degree in social work, sociology, psychology, public health and relevant fields of social sciences and five years of work experience or Masters degree in these fields and 3-year relevant work experience. Knowledge and skills of and ability to implement integrated CP responses, including Gender Based Violence. Awareness of or interest in community-based protection mechanisms.
Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement
Frequent travel to the project sites and to NO as needed.
Language Requirements
Fluent in written and spoken English.
