Required Professional Experience:
- Seven years of experience in a relevant human resources professional role.
- A combination of Human Resource experience in the following areas: talent acquisition, career planning, staff engagement, coaching and development, performance management, conflict resolution, employee relations, recognition programs.
- Experience managing people and talent with an International NGO.
- Proven ability to use networks to identify and target talent for key staff recruitment.
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification:
- Bachelor’s degree required, MA preferred in human resources management, business administration or related field and/or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications:

Required Professional Experience
2-4 years’ experience related to community capacity development, development facilitation at grassroots, partnership and/or accountability. Experience on food security, development know the context of the local community and experience working in rural development. Knowledge and close understanding on PSNP-5 program components.
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
BA/BSc degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, Agricultural Economics, Development Study, Sociology or other related fields.
Knowledge of local language (Afan Oromoo) is advantageous Computer literacy (Ms Word and Excel) Motorbike license is very important Communication skill, good human relations, willingness to reside in rural areas at kebele level; Firm belief in teamwork, gender equality, sensitivity to HIV/AIDS, conceptual understanding of participatory approach and sustainable development. Technical trainings required: Exposed to different technical trainings on the subject area (Food Security, Livelihood, VC, IGA, business development, Marketing,

Position 3: Social Worker
Major Responsibilities:
- Assist the project officer in situational assessment, operational planning, implementation and monitoring of the IDP activities.
- Provide individual and group psychological first aid/psycho-social support to children and women affected by the conflict to enable them restore their safety, dignity and hope.
- Facilitate consultation and discussions with beneficiary populations, making sure they are involved in needs assessment, delivery of protection/assistance and development/implementation of durable solutions.
- Closely work with local authorities and relevant government sector (women and children affairs, education, social affairs, schools etc.) to facilitate recovery and reiteration of the affected population.
- Facilitate school enrolment for boys and girls and closely work with parents, community leaders, civil society organizations and other actors to ensure safety of children on the way to and from schools.
- Ensure application of standards, guidelines and good practices for child protection and GBV in emergency related activities
- Coordinate and manage the establishment of child friendly spaces in collaboration with school, local authorities, and faith leaders
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor Degree in social work, sociology, psychology, education or other related fields
- Knowledge and experience on Gender Based Violence programming an asset.
- Knowledge of and ability to implement integrated CP responses, including Gender Based Violence.
- Awareness of or interest in community based protection mechanisms.
- Direct case management and experience working with children and adolescents is an asset.
- Demonstrated flexibility and creativity in planning and problem solving

Position 4: Water & Civil Works Engineer
Major Responsibility:
- Data collection for children including RCs & non-RCs, boys & girls, children living with disability for program design and reporting uses
- Data collection on contribution of WASH intervention to child wellbeing including RCs
- Community mobilization in integrated way on WASH, health, education and livelihood in relation to RC and non-RC children wellbeing
- RC Monitoring and follow up for sector outcome and report to appropriate focal point following organization-approved indicators
- Review APs water resource development and other civil works document and make regular discussions with government line offices to create smooth relationships, mutual understanding and support;
- Collect drawings/designs, specifications, bill of quantities from concerned government offices and review/verify technical compliance
- In association with relevant experts from government offices, perform water resources development and other civil works studies and conduct design review as required;
- Review and conduct detail investigation on water resource development and other civil works projects sites before commencement of the construction;
- Conduct close field supervision to ensure the implementation of water resource development and other civil works projects are in line with the plan, design, available standards, community needs and donors requirement;
- Prepare monthly, biannual and annual progress reports;
- Prepare bill of quantities, specification and cost estimate for water resource development and other civil work projects;
- Facilitate handing over of completed constructions by the AP to the user communities or the concerned government offices and ensure proper documentations for future reference
- Provide timely feedback on the progress of the construction works, challenges and concerns encountered to the AP manager in writing and copy the CPO Water and civil works engineer for appropriate action by the AP and/or cluster program office as deemed necessary
- Review and verify engineering estimations and payment certificates for water resource and other civil works projects;
- Review tender documents both for design and construction of water resource and other civil work projects;
- Review MOU and construction agreements in accordance with the policy of the organization;
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification:
B.Sc Degree on Water Resources/ Hydraulic engineering and other related field of study
Required Professional Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in water resource development and other construction supervision
- Preferred: Other NGO experience, construction and water supply schemes supervision
- Experience in using word, excel and other computer skills is an asset
- Good computer skill minimum of Microsoft word and excel
- Good report writing skill
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Experience in managing, supervising and providing support to staff and volunteers at the grass roots level.
- Intensive skills on application soft ware
- Experience in field assessment and report writing.
- Experience in developing quality training material and facilitate training a wide range of audiences.
- Communication and advocacy skills
Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement
90% field visit
Physical Requirements:
Healthy physical appearance is must
Language Requirements:
Excellent in writing and speaking in English and knowledge of local language is advantageous
