To this effect the Bank would like to recruit qualified job applicants for the following vacant posts and invite interested applicants who fulfill the minimum qualification and work experience listed for the job openings.

ZamZam Bank S.C would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.

Position 1: Senior Internal Control Officer

Minimum qualification and work experience: BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or other Business related fields with 4 years of banking experience respectively of which 2 years as Auditor/Internal Control Officer

Place of workEast District (Diredawa)

Position 2: Senior Officer, Shariah Compliance, Review & Secretary

Minimum qualification and work experience:

  • BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, Law, Islamic Banking & Finance or other related fields with 4 years of experience in sharia compliance or advisory role within financial institution
  • Knowledge of Arabic Language is advantageous

Place of workHead Office

Position 3: Senior IT Auditor

Minimum qualification and work experience:

  • BSC Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems, Electrical and Computer Engineering or Information Technology related fields with 4 years of work experience respectively out of which 2 years as IT and System Auditor.

Place of work: Addis Ababa

Position 4: Manager, Internal Audit

Minimum qualification and work experience: Master’s Degree/Bachelor Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or other business related fields with 5/7 years of banking experience respectively of which 2 years as Senior officer/Principal Officer/Team leader in audit area.

Place of work: Head Office

Position 5: Senior Risk Management Officer

Minimum qualification and work experience:  BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or other business related fields with 4 years of banking experience respectively of which 2 year as risk Management officer.

Knowledge of IFB is advantageous

Place of work:Place of work: East District (Diredawa)

Position 6: Senior Internal Control Officer

Minimum qualification and work experience: BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or other Business related fields with 4 years of banking experience respectively of which 2 years as Auditor/Internal Control Officer.

Place of work: East District (Diredawa).

Position 7: Principal District Banking Business Officer

Minimum qualification and work experience:  Master’s Degree/BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or other Business related fields with 4/6 years of banking operation experience respectively of which 2 years as senior officer in branch banking areas.

Required competencies:

  • Effective communication;
  • Coordination & facilitation
  • Coaching and mentoring;
  • Problem solving; 
  • Internal control;
  • Knowledge of core banking applications

Place of work: West District (Jimma)

Position 8: Corporate Customer Relationship Manager

Minimum qualification and work experience: Master’s Degree/BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or other business related fields with 3/5 years of banking experience respectively of which 2 year as senior officer in Financing or CRM (Credit) area.

Place of work: Head Office

Position 9: Branch Manager

Minimum qualification and work experience:  BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or other business-related fields with 5 years of banking operation experience of which 2 years as senior officer/customer service manager or equivalent role in branch banking area.

Required competencies:

  • Branch management;
  • Build high performance team;
  • Commitment and time management;
  • Problem solving; 
  • Coaching and mentoring;
  • Internal control;
  • Effective communication;
  • Sales and marketing skill; and
  • Negotiation skill.
  • Knowledge of core banking applications

Language: Knowledge of local language is advantageous

Knowledge of IFB is advantageous.
