Position 1: Customer Service Supervisor – Grade -I

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Supervisor is responsible to countersigns on tickets/vouchers and authorizes transactions. To follow up all cheque clearance activities and accounts of suspense nature. To ensure and follow up reconciliation of accounts and other related tasks.

Job Requirement

Educational Level and work Experience: BA degree in Economics/ Accounting/ Management/Business Administration /Finance and Accounting or business related field of study with a minimum of 3 (three) years of experience in banking operations

Place of Work: Bale Robe Branch

Position 2: Branch Manager – Grade I

Job Summary:

The Manager plans and coordinates the overall activities of the branch, and follows-up and evaluates Branch’s operations/targets on established performance parameters. He/she motivates and coaches the customer service officers responsible for the delivery of high quality service. He/she identifies and recruits potential customers and provides professional advice.

Job Requirement

Educational Level and work Experience: BA Degree in Management or Economics or Accounting & Finance or Marketing or Banking & Finance or Business Administration or other business related field of study with 3(three) years’ work experience in banking operations, out of which 1(one) year in supervisory position.

Place of Work: Branches under Dire Dawa city

Kebri Dehar Branch  under Jigjiga City

Position 3: Branch Manager Grade -I

Job Summary:

Position 4: Driver

Job Summary:

Driver is responsible to transports authorized passengers and goods from place to place as instructed. Performs routine inspection of items. Conduct service checks and inspection while driving vehicles, and reports any irregularities to the immediate supervisor. Performs minor repairs. Records required information such as mileage travelled, fuel consumed, destination, time of departure and arrival and submits to supervisor. Follows up the service and maintenance schedule. Takes all preventive measures to ensure that passengers and property are not exposed to damages and accidents. Performs other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirement

Educational Level and work Experience: Minimum 12th /10th grade complete with 3rd grade driving license with a minimum of 2 years related work experience.

Position 5: Risk and Compliance Management Officer

Job Summary:

Risk and Compliance Management Officer is responsible to review loss and risk trend (severity and frequency). Reviews relevant research output on the Bank’s process, product and services from risk angle. Identifies risks inherent in the Bank’s operational system and procedure. Identifies, analyzes and measures potential risks, Develops and updates inventory of rules, regulations, guidelines and practices. Identifies International, national laws and regulations that affects the operation of the Bank. Analyzes and estimates the consequences of non-compliance, Considers and identifies any uncertainties which lead to compliance.

Job Requirement

Educational Level and work Experience: BA Degree Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration with a Minimum of 3 years work experience in banking operations.

Position 6: Human Capital Management Officer under Talent Development Division

Job Summary:

Human Capital Management Officer is responsible to Identify training and development needs within the company through job analysis and appraisal schemes. Design and expand training and development programs based on the needs of the department and the individual. Identify and select relevant training institutions. Develop and support effective induction program for new staff, apprentices and graduate trainees. Supervise ongoing training programs. Evaluate training and development programs.

Job Requirement

Educational Level and work Experience: Minimum BA Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, Public administration with a minimum of 3 years related work experience in human resource management

Position 7: Procurement Officer

Job Summary:

Procurement officer is responsible to ensure that all purchase requests are duly authorized and purchase orders are issued. Collects pro-forma invoices from suppliers in accordance with the procurement procedure of the bank and submits to supervisor and purchase committee for decision. Prepares summery for collected pro-forma before they are opened. Prepares purchase order for approved and authorized purchase. Keeps track of those items which could not be readily available in the market and advises supervisor to maintain adequate stock in the store.

Job Requirement

Educational Level and work Experience: BA Degree in Procurement and supplies Management, Supplies Management, Purchasing and Supplies Management, Management, Accounting with a minimum of 3 years of procurement related work experience.

Position 8: Manager – Interest Free Banking Operations

Job Summary:

Manager – Interest Free Banking Operations is responsible for Developing draft IFB resource mobilization strategy, guidelines/techniques and compile and share best practices/experiences. Prepare IFB deposit performance report of districts/branches and submit for review. Follow-up the rectification of internal audit report findings and settlement of escalated long outstanding items. Attend to queries of branches in their day to day IFB operations. Follow-up timely submission of periodic returns and reports of Districts/branches. Regularly assess key IFB resource opportunity areas and identify corporate deposit customers. Undertake generic duties of the Division (planning, budgeting, coaching and mentoring, supervision, reporting, performance appraisal).

Job Requirement

Required Qualification: MA/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, Business Administration or related field

Work Experience: with 6/8 years of banking professional experience of which 4 years should be at supervisory position.

Place of Work: Head Office
