Abay Logistics PLC tries to turn into Ethiopia’s favored outsider Logistics Company by applying experiences and conveying mechanically imaginative results. We need to make manageable development for all organizations and society at large.

At present the organization right now participated in Customs Clearance and (Transit), Freight sending and Shipping Agency. Soon, we will begin another business line. Our organization currently wants to employ very competitive and energetic junior staffs on the following vacant positions for the new business line;

Position 1: Customer Handling Junior Officer

Specific Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • Serve as front office Desk officer for all business enquiries
  • Handle all customers’ company service requests
  • Sell company’s services
  • Process orders and transactions
  • Deliver information about a company’s offerings
  • Provide proactive customer outreach
  • Handle customer complaints
  • Collect and analyzing customer feedback
  • Respond to customer reviews
  • Term of employment – Permanent

For fresh graduates (2020/2021) who qualify the educational requirement will also be considered and encouraged to apply without prior experience.

Job Requirements

Education

Bachelor of Art Degree in Business Management or Marketing or Economics

Working Experience

One to two years of total work Experience in Similar and related fields

Competence

  • Comprehensive knowledge of promotional strategies
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill
  • Strong research and strategic analysis skills
  • Business Intelligence
  • Industry/market knowledge and expertise
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Team Work

Position 2:  Trucks & Cargo Dispatch and Follow-Up Junior Officer

Specific Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • Match Vehicle request with cargo and dispatch
  • Track and trace vehicles/Cargo with devices
  • Relaying information to customers, drivers, Transport companies and Operation staffs
  • Resolve problems, requests coming from customers and Drivers
  • Collect documents from Transporters /drivers and hand over to Operation/Finance
  • Preparing daily work schedules implement and follow up it
  • Preparing work orders for vehicles/Drivers
  • Term of employment – Permanent

For fresh graduates (2020/2021) who qualify the educational requirement will also be considered and encouraged to apply without prior experience.

Job Requirements

Education

Bachelor of Art Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Management or Related fields

Logistics, Shipping agency, Terminal Management & Customs training is required

Working Experience

One to Two years of total work Experience in Similar and related Fields

  • Transport Management
  • Digital Technology/GPS
  • Networking and relationship skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill
  • Business Intelligence
  • Industry/market knowledge and expertise

Position 3:  Marketing Senior Officer

Specific Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • Plan and execute marketing designs and activities
  • Promote and sale the company’s Services to customers.
  • Research and develop marketing opportunities
  • Conduct marketing intelligence
  • Select offline and online promotional outlets
  • Maintaining relationships with important clients
  • Develop and sustain strong working relationships with all stakeholders
  • Term of employment: Permanent

Job Requirements

Education

Bachelor of Art Degree in Business Management or Marketing or Economics

Working Experience

6 (Six) – years of total work Experience in Similar and related Business companies.

Logistics related marketing experience is highly required

Competence

  • Comprehensive knowledge of promotional strategies
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill
  • Strong research and strategic analysis skills
  • Business Intelligence
  • Industry/market knowledge and expertise
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Team Work Business Negotiation
