Position 1: – Hygiene and Social Behavioral Change Officer I
Purpose/job Summary:
The purpose of the position is, among other things, to identify and address established bottlenecks to sanitation and hygiene related behavioral change; promote and expand adoption of key hygiene behavior, products & services including MHH hygiene; facilitate and work with private sector and social entrepreneurs in basic sanitation, design and follow up of utilization of IEC materials for hygiene and sanitation promotion; and facilitate community capacity building related to hygiene & sanitation. Further, he/she is also responsible for compiling data & conducting studies in his/her areas of assignment to contribute to the attainment of community hygiene & social behavioral changes
Job Requirement
Qualification: MA/MSc or BA/BSc in a field of Public Health, Environmental Health, WASH or related
Experience: At least 3/5 years relevant experience in areas captured under job summary section. Direct experience in the implementation of projects in NGO environment is also an added value.
Quantity: Two (Borana and South Omo)
Place of Work: Yabello, Borana Zone, Oromia NRS; and Jinka, Ari Zone, South Ethiopia Region.
Position 2: – Gender and Community Engagement Officer I
Purpose:
The purpose of the position is, among other things, to facilitate gender transformative and inclusive approach in PCM; work with concerned stakeholders to create enabling environment for ensuring gender equality in project implementation; facilitate the materialization of systems and procedures developed to enhance gender transformation and inclusive approach in project implementation; facilitate and follow up active and inclusive community engagement in the planning, implementation and monitoring of the project through the perspective of gender transformative approaches. S/he will be engaged in the day-to-day operations of the project, and participates in the monitoring of the project by applying gender-sensitive check-lists for ensuring compliance with the relevant policies & procedures pertaining to gender and community engagement
Job Requirement
Qualification: MA/MSc/BA/BSc in Gender Studies, Development Studies, Sociology, or related fields
Experience: At least 2/4 years relevant experience
Quantity: Two (Borana and South Omo)

Position 3: – Water Technician
Purpose
The purpose of the water technician position is, among other things, to facilitate assessment of rural water service potential accessibility; provide support to the design and preparation of bill of quantity of water schemes; work with private sector actors to facilitate access to water services, support quantifying systems and procedures that ensure the access and proper use of water supply schemes, facilitate and support the planning, implementation and monitoring of the operation and installation of water supply schemes, facilitate and support commissioning of water pumps, generators, solar systems, hand-pumps, etc.; and facilitate the delivery of technical trainings to WASHCOs and WUAs. S/he will be engaged in the facilitation of the day-to-day operations of the project in areas of assignment
Job Requirement
Qualification: MSc/BSc in Water Resource Engineering or related fields.
Experience: At least 3/5 years relevant experience
