Position 1: Senior Learning & Development Officer
Duty station: Head Office
Purpose of the Job: To implement learning and development programs aimed at ensuring the continuous existence of highly competent employees equipped with the specific competencies required to achieve the banks vision, mission and strategic focus.
Generic Functions:
Take up the roles of the division manager in his/her absence
Actively participate in developing, reviewing and implementing policies & procedures, plan /budget of the division
Mentor and enable staffs below his/her grades towards achieving their effective performance
Demonstrate the Bank’s code of conduct; embody the bank’s good culture and corporate image to the public
Engage in teamwork, collaboration, and transparency work practices
Specific Functions:
Participate in the development and implementation of the Bank’s learning & development strategies/ programs on organizational, functional and employee levels
Prepare and review annual training plan/budget in line with the training need assessment, career management program and succession plan
Analyze needs, assess the capacities of staff, and propose continuous education (e.g. Training plan, trainings of trainers , seminars)
Perform other duties as required.
Job Requirement:
Qualification: BA in Management, Business Management, Public administration and Development Management or any other related fields
Experience: Five (5) years of relevant experience preferably in banking industry of which two /2 year on officer position.
Position 2: Senior Compliance Management Officer
Workplace: Head Office
Purpose of the Job: To provide proactive and effective compliance management with Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Terrorist Financing and other international and national regulatory requirements by designing and implementing a proactive and risk based compliance management approach; implement due diligence on Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Terrorist Financing activities.
Generic Functions:
Take up the roles of the division manager in his/her absence
Actively participate in developing, reviewing and implementing policies & procedures, plan /budget of the division
Mentor and enable staffs below his/her grades towards achieving their effective performance
Demonstrate the Bank’s code of conduct; embody the bank’s good culture and corporate image to the public
Engage in teamwork, collaboration, and transparency work practices
Provide services as per the service level agreement
Contribute to the bank’s profitability as per the target set
Specific Functions:
Propose and contribute to the development and revision of compliance, AML/CFT and KYC related policies, procedures, guidelines, standards and program; and monitor its implementation
Develop and implement compliance communication strategy and training programs on Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Terrorist Financing targeted at promoting compliance awareness and culture across the Bank
Conduct timely compliance risk assessments regularly on selected branches and other units of the bank for proactive mitigation of the potential risks
Prepare executive level compliance risk assessment reports that are precise, accurate and tailored to the Board of Directors, Executive Management and regulators’ need and present to the Board of Directors and Executive Management
Conduct assessment on new bank products and service of the Bank to ensure compliance with laws and NBE directives
Handle additional related assignments as directed by immediate supervisor
Job Requirement:
Qualification: BA in Business Management/Accounting/Economics or any other related fields
Work Experience: Five (5) years of relevant experience preferably in banking industry of which Two/2 years on officer position.
Position 3: Customer Service Executive – II
Place of Work: Modjo, Balchi
Purpose of the Job: To enhance customer satisfaction by handling front line customer service activities with due care and maximum efficiency, increase the Branch’s resource mobilization effort by cross-selling the Bank’s products and services.
Generic Functions:
Enhance the strong business relationship with customers and cross sell the bank’s positive image to the community
Provide the concerned organ with timely, relevant, accurate, and complete reports on the plan performance
Provide services as per the service level agreement
Contribute to the bank’s profitability as per the target set
Engage in teamwork, collaboration, and transparency work practices
Adhere to internal control system and risk management program of the Bank
Specific Functions:
Engage and perform customer recruitment and account opening activities
Administer the Primary Vault dually with Branch Operation Manager/ Branch Manager
Receive, verify, lodge and withdraw cash to/from Primary and Secondary Vault
Receive or dispatch consignment of cash from/ to the Treasury
Verify the daily cash receipts and cash bricks are in order, wrapped and initialed
Job Requirement:
Qualification: BA in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management, and any other related fields
Work Experience: One (1) year of experience in banking operation as CSO, CSR, CSE, or related position
Position 4: Senior Branch Operation Support Officer
Place of Work: South East District (Addis Ababa)
Purpose of the Job: To facilitate and provide regular support to regional Offices/branches in their effort of branch expansion and resource mobilization
Generic Functions:
Take up the roles of the Division Manager in his/her absence
Actively participate in developing, reviewing and implementing policies & procedures, plan /budget of the division
Mentor & enable staffs below his /grades towards achieving their effective performance
Demonstrate the Bank’s code of conduct; embody the bank’s good culture and corporate
Specific Functions:
Actively take part in developing and implementing strategy to provide the necessary assistance, facilitation to branches/regions in their effort of maximizing revenue
Provide the necessary facilitation and supports to the smooth operation of regions /branches
Develop/review, and monitor the proper implementation of branch operation procedure
Compile regions’ enquiries for facilities and services from the Head Office and ensure they are all addressed as necessary
Job Requirement:
Qualification: Business Management/ Accounting/ Economics/ Business Administration/Finance and Economics or any other related fields
Work Experience: Five (5) years of relevant banking experience of which Two/2 years on officer position
Position 5: Security Guard – I (Male)
Purpose of the Job: To support the Bank’s operation through maintaining safety and security of the organization and its personnel, and ensuring secured customer services with welcoming environment.
Generic Functions:
Patrolling and securing the area and ensuring the protection of properties and facilities
Protecting the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues
Report any suspicious behaviors and happenings
Performs other related duties as assigned
Specific Functions:
Avert inventory losses by reporting missing items, inconsistencies and damaged property
Use radio or other communication devices in a clear and concise manner, if appropriate
Prepare written reports of daily activities, observations and incidents
Keep an eye on the entrance and exit to prevent theft and ensure workplace security
Job Requirement:
Qualification: 10th/12th Grade Complete
Work Experience: Two (2) years of relevant experience in Military/Police service
Age: Between 25-50
