Position 1: Junior Facility Management Officer
Qualification: BA in Purchasing, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or any other related fields
Work Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience preferably in banking industry.
Purpose of the Job: To assist the process of delivering efficient and effective facility services in the bank.
Generic Functions:
- Demonstrate the Bank’s code of conduct; embody the Bank’s good culture and corporate image to the public;
- Provide services as per the service level agreement;
- Contribute to the Bank’s profitability as per the target set;
- Implement timely corrective action on deficiencies and issues that have been raised or reported different internal and external regulatory bodies;
- Handle other related generic duties as required.
Specific Functions:
- Assist the process of annual inspection of vehicles, insurance coverage for new vehicles and renewal for existing;
- Assist the outsourced facility services are provided as per the agreement;
- Avail timely sanitary materials for cleaners and check the proper utilization, monitor and confirm the cleaning work is performed appropriately;
- Assist the central facility services such as event, air-ticket, catering/canteen, waste disposal and parking;
- Handle other related duties as may be required.
Place of Work: Head Office
Position 2: Portfolio Management officer
Qualification: BA in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management, and any other related fields
Work Experience: Three (3) years of relevant Banking experience of which one/1 years on officer position.
Purpose of the Job: To enhance the quality of the Bank’s loan portfolio and the effectiveness of credit decision making by ensuring accurate loan provisioning and availability of up-to-date credit information for all appropriate stakeholders
Generic Functions:
- Provide the concerned organ with timely, relevant, accurate, and complete reports on the plan performance;
- Implement timely corrective action on deficiencies and issues that have been raised or reported different internal and external regulatory bodies;
- Handle other tasks as requested by his/her supervisor
Specific Functions:
- Properly classify loans as per NBE directive and maintain loan provision;
- Review loans disbursed during the month, detect deviations from terms of decision; and take corrective action;
- Check loans and advances are repaid as per the terms and conditions of the loan contract;
- Ensure the loan provision is properly maintained for any potential credit losses risk;
- Update loan files if there are any changes and periodically prune files;
- Handle other tasks as requested by his/her supervisor
Place of Work: Head Office
Position 3: Data Clerk (Contractual basis)
Qualification: Diploma in Secretarial Science and Office Management and any other related fields.
Work Experience: Two (2) years of relevant experience.
Purpose of the Job: To assist in providing swift response to shareholder requests and enquiries by maintaining share transaction records and shareholders ‘accounts, allocating dividends, processing the transfer of shares and delivering share certificates.
Generic Functions:
- Provide the required assistance in all activities of the work unit;
- Properly maintain important files/records and avail when required;
- Engage in teamwork, collaboration, and transparency work practices;
- Provide services as per the service level agreement;
- Handle other tasks as requested by his/her supervisor
Specific Functions:
- Transfer shares in accordance with the provisions of the share administration procedure of the Bank and the law of the country.
- Receive shareholder requests and provide appropriate response.

Position 4: Attorney
Qualification: LLB in Law or any other related fields.
Work Experience: Three (3) years of relevant experience preferably in banking industry of which One/1 year on officer position.
Purpose of the Job: To handle complex legal matters and court proceedings related to debt; Handle loan litigation cases ; foreclosure cases and criminal cases; appear to all court levels and any tribunals; Identify emerging trends associated with loan defaults that may affect the Bank; Represent the Bank before courts of law and any tribunals.
Generic Functions:
- Participate in developing, reviewing and implementing policies & procedures, plan /budget, performance report of the division;
- Provide services as per the service level agreement;
- Contribute to the bank’s profitability as per the target set;
- Engage in teamwork, collaboration, and transparency work practices;
- Adhere to internal control system and risk management program of the Bank;
Specific Functions:
- Represent and/or ensure that the Bank is adequately represented at courts or tribunals in its defenses or in suits against third parties;
- Follow up the implementation of courts and any tribunal orders;
- Follow up and advise on the defaulting loans and the termination of the legal and equitable title of properties held as collateral;
- Prepare letters to public authorities and to defaulters for the execution of foreclosure activities;
- Handle other related duties as deemed necessary.
Place of Work: Head Office
Position 5: Manager, Foreclosure and Debt Recovery
Qualification: LLM/LLB in Law or any other related fields.
Work Experience: Seven/Nine 7/9 years of relevant experience preferably in banking industry of which Two/2 years on senior officer position.
Purpose of the Job: To manage debt recovery activities of the bank through foreclosure and litigation proceedings, and undertaking appropriate dispute settlement mechanisms.
Generic Functions:
- Contribute to the bank’s profitability as per the target set;
- Mentor and coach subordinates towards effective career development;
- Adhere to internal control system and risk management program of the Bank;
- Evaluate the periodic performance of his/her subordinates;
- Provide the concerned organ with timely, relevant, accurate, and complete reports on the plan performance;
- Implement and ensure timely corrective action on deficiencies and issues that have been raised or reported by different internal and external regulatory bodies;
- Take part in the decision making process by forming part of different panel/committee(s);
- Handle other related generic activities as deemed necessary.
Specific Functions:
- Translate and implement legal strategies, policies, and procedures in coordination with the Director Legal Services;
- Plan, organize, manage and coordinate the debt recovery activities of the bank;
- Manage and handle activities related with foreclosure process including ownership transfer of the collateral as per the Bank’s policy and procedure;
- Effectively manage court proceedings, institute legal suits, lodge appeals and defend cases to ensure repayment of loans;
- Institute a legal action or suit and defend the Bank against claimant before courts of law or any tribunals;
- Ensures that the Bank is adequately represented at courts or tribunals in its defenses or in suits against third parties;
- Prepare and/or review statements of claims, statements of defenses, appeals, interventions and any other forms civil, labor and criminal pleadings before submission to the appropriate judicial organs;
- Provide legal advice on loan recovery cases;
- Handle other duties as required.
Place of Work: Head Office
Position 6: Branch Manager Grade – I
Qualification: BA in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management, and any other related fields.
Work Experience: 7 years of relevant experience in the Banking Industry of which 1 year as Assistant Branch Manager/CSM or Relationship Manager or 7 years of relevant banking experience of which at least 2 years as Senior Officer in banking operation position
Purpose of the Job: To achieve sustainable growth and profitability of the Bank through cross selling the Bank’s products & services; acquiring & retaining customers, improving customer services and building strong customer relationships to maximize resources mobilization efforts; managing overall retail banking operations at the assigned branch.
Generic Functions:
- Prepare /review work plans / budgets of the branch and monitor its execution;
- Embody the bank’s good culture & corporate image;
- Demonstrate the Bank’s code of conduct, ascertain that subordinates abide by same and manage disciplinary concerns;
- Provide services as per the service level agreement, follow- up & monitor subordinates to do the same ;
- Contribute to the bank’s profitability as per the target set;
- Mentor and coach subordinates towards effective career development;
Specific Functions:
- Plan and lead the enhancement of the resource mobilization activity of the branch by organizing and effectively coordinating the branch workforce;
- Aggressively engage in marketing and promotional activities by communicating with customers about the products and services available in the bank;
- summary accounts of the branch and apply strict follow-up on controllable expenses;
- Ensure that transactions are authorized immediately and end-of-business cycle processes are done on a timely basis.
