Vacancy Announcement Date: – December 10, 2022

Awash Bank SC would like to invites competent and qualified candidates for the following positions.

Position 1. IT Project Manager

Qualification & Experience:
BSc Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology. Professional Certificates in Project Management (added advantage) plus a minimum of 8 years experience in Technology Projects, and quality Control; three (3) years of which should be in a Supervisory role preferably in the Banking sector.

Position 2. Manager –  IFB Product Development Division

Qualification & Experience:
BA Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics & Management plus a minimum of 8 (eight) years’ working experience in Banking sector with at least 3 (Three) years in Banking Operation and 3 (Three) years in Supervisory role preferably in Interest Free Banking Services.

Position 3. Principal – Software Engineer

Qualification & Experience:
BA Degree in Software engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology. Professional course in IT (added advantage) with a minimum of 7 years in Software Development, 3 years of Database Design and Analysis is required. Certifications is an advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma. Quality inspection, Auditing and Testing experience. Experience with implementation of corrective action programs.

Position 4. Principal – IFB Product Development Officer

Qualification & Experience:
BA Degree in Business Administration or Accounting plus a minimum of Six (6) years’ in Banking operation, with at least Two (2) years in Senior role preferably in IFB services.

Position 5. Senior – Information Systems Auditor

Qualification & Experience:
Bsc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology & Information Systems or BA Degree in Business related field plus a minimum of 6 (Six) years experience in banking operations with a minimum of 3 (Three) years in Information Systems Auditing. Certifications in IT Auditing is Mandatory.

Position 6. Senior – Software Engineer

Qualification & Experience:
BA Degree in Software engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology. Professional course in IT (added advantage) plus a minimum of six (6) years in Software Development with Two (2) years of Database Design and Analysis is required. Certifications is an advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma, Quality Inspection, Auditing and Testing experience. Experience with implementation of corrective action programs.

Position 7. Senior – IFB Product Development Officer

Qualification & Experience:
BA Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Management & Economics plus a minimum of Four (4) years’ in Banking operation , with at least Two (2) years in IFB Officer Services.

Position 8. Information Systems Auditor

Qualification & Experience:
Bsc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology & Information Systems or BA Degree in Business related field plus a minimum of 4 (Four) years in in Banking Operations with a minimum of 2 (Two) years in Information Systems Auditing. Certifications in IT Auditing is Mandatory.

Position 9. Software Engineer I

Qualification & Experience:
BSc Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering & Information Technology Professional course in IT (added advantage) plus a minimum of Two (2) years in Software Development Experience.

Position 10. Relationship Officer-Branch I

Qualification & Experience:
BA Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Management & Economics plus minimum of Two (2) years experience in banking sector.

Position 11. Customer Service Officer II

Qualification & Experience:
BA Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Management & Economics plus minimum of 2(two) years of experience in Banking Industry.

Position 12. Customer Service Officer I

Qualification & Experience:
BA Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Management & Economics plus a minimum of 1 year of experience in Banking Industry.
Skills Requirement- Knowledge of computer operation is mandatory
Term of Employment – Permanent
Salary & Benefits -As per the Bank’s Salary Scale & Benefits Package
