The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia would like to invite qualified and interested job seekers to apply for the following vacant position.
Position 1: IS Trainee
Required Educational Qualification and Work Experience: B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, MIS, Electrical and Computer Engineering or Information Technology and related fields with zero year of experience.
Accumulative GPA: 2.5 and above
Year of Graduation: 2016 E.C and 2017 E.C Only
Age: 27 years and below at the time of application
Place of Work: At Head Office and under all Addis Ababa District includes Outline District.
Salary: As per the Bank’s Salary scale
Application Date: September 04, 2025 – September 10, 2025
Deadline: September 10, 2025

Interested and qualified applicants should apply through CBE career website https://vacancy.cbe.com.et and required to attach Degree document, Curriculum Vitae, work experience and other necessary credentials within seven consecutive working days from the date of this vacancy announcement. However, the Bank has full right to cancel or take any other alternative in this regard.
Candidates who have successfully completed the recruitment process will be expected to authenticate their academic documents from the concerned higher institution by themselves within six-months period after he/she has joined the Bank;
Cheating on examination or any other illegal acts during the recruitment process or if mischief incidents observed/ reported in relation to the submitted academic credential, then Bank has the right to cancel the applicant even after he/she has joined the Bank.
Priority shall be given as per the Bank’s HR procedure;
All documents should be scanned in pdf or doc formats only and the size of each document should be less than 2MB.
