Our company was originally established in 1938 E.C. in Addis Ababa under the name SEDE, founded by four foreign nationals and one Ethiopian citizen with an initial capital of just 1,500 birrs. From its early years, the factory focused on producing Oxygen and Acetylene gases, Sedex Bleach, and wax products.
In 1976 E.C., CGCPF became a government-owned enterprise under the National Chemical Corporation, where our role was focused on production and inventory, while procurement and sales were managed centrally. With the dissolution of the corporation in 1985 E.C., we gained full operational autonomy under the Public Enterprise Service Authority (PESA).
Chora Gas and Chemical Product Factory Group would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.
Position: Data Encoder
Education:
TVET Level III Certificate in Information Science/Technology, Library Science, and related fields.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in data encoding
- Proficiency in Encoding and Typing
- Computer Literacy and familiarity with Databases
- Strong Communication skills
- Attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in data entry or a related field is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in computer science or related fields are advantageous.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Encoder, located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Data Encoder will be responsible for accurately entering data into our systems, maintaining databases, and ensuring the integrity and security of information. Daily tasks include encoding data, verifying accuracy, and communicating with team members to resolve any discrepancies
Location: Addis Ababa
