Position 1: Regional Project Coordinator
Main duty and Responsibility
- Regional Project Coordinator will have the following duty and responsibility but not limted to listed below:
- She/He will directly manage project implementation in consultation with Program director and other CVDA staffs
- She/He will provide regular technical support to in implementation of GAVI REACH project.
- Manage regular communication and partnership with regional health buraue and zonal health department for smooth project implementation
- Provide timely follow up on status Project deliverables and provide timely solution to constraints to achieve deliverables
- Timely request budget for project implementation
- Ensure Project implemented following national project guideline
- Facilitate mapping of zero dose children
- Provide support for woreda team RED microplanning
- Establish outreach and mobilize health team to reach zero dose children 12-59 months
- Ensure timely program and financial reports submitted to CVDA head office , Government signatories and donor
Reports to: Program Director
Duty Station: Assosa
Required Number: 01
Duration of employment: 8 month with high possibility of extension based on performance and availability of fund.
Salary: As per the scale of the organization
Job Requirements
- Applicant need to have MSC degree in Health related field or social science and minimum 6 years experience in related activity
- Experience in EPI or GAVI funded project will be advantageous
- Working Experience in Benishangul region and knowledge of project areas is advantageous
- Applicant need to have good English language skill and good team work ability
- Female applicants are highly encouraged
Position 2: Zonal Coordinator
Main duty and Responsibility
Zonal coordinator will have the following duty and responsibility but not limted to listed below:
- She/He will directly manage project implementation in consultation with Regional coordinator and other CVDA staffs
- She/He will provide regular technical support to in implementation of GAVI REACH project in West Guji zone
- Manage regular communication and partnership with zonal health department and other offices for smooth project implementation
- Provide timely follow up on status Project deliverables and provide timely solution to constraints to achieve deliverables
- Timely request budget for project implementation
- Ensure Project implemented following national project guideline
- Facilitate mapping of zero dose children
- Provide support for woreda team RED microplanning
- Estalish outreach and mobilize health team to reach zero dose children 12-59 months
- Ensure timely program and financial reports submitted to CVDA Regional office and Government signatories
Reports to: Regional coordinator
Duty Station: West Guji zone, Bulehora
Requred Number: 01
Duration of employment: 8 months with high possibility of extension based on performance and availability of fund.
Job Requirements
- Applicant need to have MSC degree in Health related field or social science and minimum 4 years Experience or BSC degree and 6 experience in related activity
- Experience in EPI or GAVI funded project will be advantageous
- Working Experience in west Guji zone and Oromifa language is Essential
- Applicant need to have good English language skill and good team work ability
- Female applicants are highly encouraged
Position 3: Senior Admin and finance Officer
Main duty and Responsibility:
Senior Admin and Finance Officer will have the following duty and responsibility but not limted to listed below:
- She/He will directly manage Finace and administration activity of the project in consultation with Admin and finance Head and other CVDA staffs
- She/He will track project expenditure as per project budget, CVDA manual and donor regulation
- Review payments made by regional cashier for appropriateness
- Ensure all project staffs timely sign time sheet and comply to administrative regulation
- Follow project advances timely settled
- Ensure project financial transaction properly record in Peachtree
- Ensure Financial reports submitted to CVDA head office and donor
Reports to: Admin and Finance Head
Duty Station: Addis Ababa
Requred Number: 01
Duration of employment: 8 month with high possibility of extension based on performance and availability of fund.
Job Requirements
- Applicant need to have MSC degree/BSC degree Accounting 4 years experience in Finance positions in similar Activity
- Experience in USAID funded project will be preferred
- Applicant need to have good English language skill and computer skill
- Female applicants are highly encouraged
Position 4: Project Officers
Main duty and Responsibility
Project Officer will have the following duty and responsibility but not limited to listed below:
- She/He will directly manage activity of the project at woreda level in consultation with Regional Project Coordinator and other Zonal Coordinator
- She/He will provide support to woreda health office PHCUs and HEWs to map zero dose children and conduct RED microplanning
- Provide training and technical support to PHCU and HEWs
- Follow Health Extension workers and PHCUs on provision immunization service to zero dose children especially children 12-59 months through regular immunization service
- Conduct immunization through outreach service and mobile health team to reach zero dose children could not be reached through regular immunization service
- Integrate with woreda health office to provide immunization service to zero dose children 12-59 months during national immunization campaign days.
- Regularly collect immunization service data from PHCUs and woreda health Office and upload to Commcare.
- Support woreda health office in reporting of zero dose children and track defaulters
- Ensure program reports submitted to CVDA Regional office
Reports to: Regional Project Coordinator and zonal coordinator
Duty Station: Bulehora, Gelana woreda (Tore), Kamash, Dangur, Tsedal, Dambe and Mizga woreda
Requred Number: 9
Duration of employment: 8 months possibility of extension based on performance and availability of fund.
Job Requirements
- Applicant need to have BSC degree in health related field and social science and 4 years experience in similar positions in similar Activity
- Experience in EPI program and GAVI funded project will be advantageous
- Experience in target woredas and local language is essential
- Ability to deliver tasks timely and willingness to travel to remote kebeles is needed.
- Applicant need to have good English language skill and computer skill
- Female applicants are highly encouraged
