Position 1:WASH Officer-Engineer
JOB REQUIREMENT
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the coordination and supervision of WASH Construction projects
Strong knowledge and experience in community education, social behavioral change projects, organizing and coordinating trainings
Knowledge and experience in community-based approaches to promoting hygiene and sanitation like PHAST, CLTS, SLTS
Previous work experience in Host community, refugee/IDP settings and complex emergencies is an asset.
Familiarity with the SPHERE Project and Minimum Standards
Capable of training IDPs/HC and motivating community support;
Ability to understand the cultural context of the community, Experience in participatory techniques and community mobilization;
Positive and professional attitude, able to organize, maintain and prioritize work under pressure and able to work in an insecure environment;
Excellent communication skill, preferably with the host community and IDPs
Strong organizational skills and able to coordinate and manage a diverse array of activities and stakeholders
Positive and professional attitude, able to organize, maintain and prioritize work under pressure and able to work in an insecure environment;
Strong facilitation, negotiation and mediation skills and ability to work independently
Report writing skills and computer skills in word processing and spreadsheets.

A University degree in civil engineering, Environmental engineering, water supply and sanitation or directly related field

Position 2:Protection Officer – Community Based
JOB REQUIREMENT
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an entry to mid-level position, with experience in the field of humanitarian response and refugee/IDP protection working for an international NGO, UN agency or relevant ministry or local authority.
Experience in conducting protection monitoring or protection assessments using online data collection tools such as Kobo and Activity info
Good data collection, analysis and reporting skills
Experience working with displaced or conflict affected populations.
Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
Integrity, strong work ethic, and ability to consistently meet deadlines under pressure.
Full proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
EDUCATION: (include certificates, licenses, etc.)
University degree/Diploma in social sciences, law, social work, international development, or other relevant field from a recognized institution
LANGUAGE: (indicate fluency level)
Excellent skills in speaking, reading and writing English and Amharic.

Position 3:Protection and HDP Assistant – Emergency Response
Experience and technical competencies:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a humanitarian or community service setting, preferably in protection or social work.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in social sciences, social work, law, psychology, or related fields.
Experience working with communities in the Somali region is an asset.
Familiarity with protection principles and basic psychosocial support is desirable.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; Kobo skills are an advantage.

University degree Diploma or bachelor’s degree in social sciences, social work, law, psychology, or related fields
