Dashen Bank S.C would like to invites competent and qualified fresh graduate applicants for the following job position.

Position:- Customer Service Officer (Maker) – IFB

Workplace:- Addis Ababa

DB/ Vacancy-0229/22

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Officer (Maker)-IFB is responsible to make front office customer service at the branch. S/he will handle account maintenance, payment and collection transactions and respond to customer enquiries, handle cash and non-cash transactions and all customer requests at the branch.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in a business related field e.g. Marketing Management, Accounting and Finance, Management, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology or any other equivalent fields 

 Basic understanding on Interest Free/ Islamic finance principles/ Sheria law supported by Diploma or Certificate in Interest Free Banking shall be given priority.                                                                                                                                                                                                    

Required work Experience:

Zero (0) year of experience

Not more than 25 years of age (for external applicants)

Required Technical Competency:

  • Understands the basic mechanisms of general financial products and services.
  • Good knowledge of Bank’s accounting and procedures.   
  • Understanding of Interest Free Banking Business products, cutomer nature and related risks. 
  • Understanding of relevant Shari’ah requirements applicable to Islamic financial business   
  • Ability to respond to basic client enquiries and instructions and the capability of advising and resolving most issues and requests. 
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications and good command of the core banking system.
