Dodai is a fast growing organization with a mission of making e-mobility accessible to everyone in Africa through its innovative products and services.
Dodai plans to provide brand new electric two wheelers by assembling them here in Addis Ababa and plans to expand to major regional cities in Ethiopia by the end of 2024. It’s thus looking to engage dynamic Ethiopian talent to ensure the achievement of its goals.
Dodai Manufacturing would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.
Position 1: Junior Quality Assurance Officer
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or closely related fields
- 1 year experience working in a factory setting preferably with similar products (E2W, E3W etc.)
- Have knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to multitask.
- Outstanding time management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Hands-on work approach
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 2: Import Operations Supervisor
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leading role for importing raw materials.
- Experience and detailed knowledge of the processes related to franco valuta
- Experience interacting with the Ethiopian Investment Commission and Kality Customs
- Experience coordinating with international suppliers to ensure the right packaging and documents
- Expertise in managing international logistics, including freight forwarding and customs clearance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
Good to have :
- Experience in the automotive sector and with spare parts
- Proficiency in digital tools for task tracking and process optimization (e.g., Asana, Trello)
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance.
- Experience In the fast paced startup environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
