Dodai is a fast growing organization with a mission of making e-mobility accessible to everyone in Africa through its innovative products and services.
Dodai plans to provide brand new electric two wheelers by assembling them here in Addis Ababa and plans to expand to major regional cities in Ethiopia by the end of 2024. It’s thus looking to engage dynamic Ethiopian talent to ensure the achievement of its goals.
Dodai Manufacturing would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.
Position 1: Junior Sales Representative
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales or a related role.
- Extremely performance and number-driven mindset
- Understanding of direct sales methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of Oromiffa language (reading, writing and speaking)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Location: Shagger City
Position 2: Direct Sales Team Lead
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in direct sales, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets, preferably in a leadership role within the automotive or technology sectors.
- Good command of Oromiffa language (reading, writing and speaking)
- Expertise in direct sales techniques and the management of sales teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a sales team towards meeting ambitious sales goals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering strong customer relationships and promoting team cohesion.
- Commitment to providing top-notch customer service, with a passion for coaching team members to excel in customer interactions and sales performance.
Location: Shagger City
Position 3: Engineering Supervisor
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or closely related fields
- Minimum of 4 years working in the automotive industry
- Minimum of 2 years experience managing a vehicle repair team
- Sound knowledge of vehicle dynamics and engineering
- Sound knowledge of motorcycle performance, comfort and durability factors
- Experience in executing test protocols, testing strategies, equipment and schedules.
- Willing to work in a fast paced & challenging environment.
- Knowledge of CAD software like Solidwork is a plus.
- Knowledge of scientific programming tools like MATLAB is a major plus.
- Ability to communicate in Chinese is a plus.
- Having a valid motorbike license to ride in Addis Ababa is a plus.
- Sound knowledge of electrical tools, pneumatic tools and data acquisition systems.
- Experience with lithium ion batteries is a plus.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Outstanding time management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong management and leadership skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Up to date with the latest global testing technology
