Position: Junior Pharmacist
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy
- 0-1 year of experience in dispensing
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for order processing and tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement systems of good dispensing practice for OTC and Prescription only medicines.
- Ensure that dispensing occurs accurately, reflect the prescriber’s intention, and is consistent with the needs and safety of the consumer.
- Review the patient personal details and medication history
- To work ethically and with full professional competence.
- Must adhere to the pharmacy’s opening and closing procedures, as well as any other routine procedures related to dispensing medications, inventory management, and record-keeping
- Must follow the pharmacy’s medication dispensing protocols and ensure that all medication orders are accurately processed and dispensed.
- Any incidents or errors must be promptly reported to the appropriate personnel, and corrective action must be taken as necessary.
- All employees are required to follow established routine rules and procedures, including dispensing medication, managing inventory, and handling customer inquiries and complaints.
