Position 1: First Aid/Emergency Medical Technician Trainer
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Promotes first aid and medical emergency training programs;
- Conducts training needs assessment;
- Collects training need request and organizes training programs;
- Delivers training of both first aid and emergency medical service;
- Evaluates training sessions;
- Organizes and facilitates training related documents;
- Organizes training materials for Fist Aid and Emergency Medical training programs;
- Organizes data of trainers pool, selects and proposes trainers as deemed necessary;
- Conducts post training assessment and proposes appropriate action for the improvement of the quality of the services as per the standard;
- Participates and organizes first aid and emergency medical training designs and manual development;
- Ensures compliance with local policies and medical direction requirements of the regulatory authority;
- Ensures training materials and facilities are ready for training;
- Maintains records of training activities;
- Prepares activity reports and submits to the training and consultancy service coordinator;
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities of the job as assigned by the Training and Consultancy Service Coordinator

Position 2: Senior Resource Mobilization and Expansion Expert
Key performance area:
- Under the general direction and guidance of the Head Resource Mobilization and Expansion Service, the Senior Resource Mobilization and Expansion Expert responsible for the following major functional duties:-
- Implements the plans and work towards to fulfill the revenue target set in the NS strategic plan;
- Carried out market research on the overall resource mobilization activities with the view to enhance the com petitiveness of the NS, Participate in developing Resource Map of the Society.
- Conduct feasibility study at National level for possible resource mobilization initiatives and for specific projects at branch level;
- Develop business project proposals to mobilize financial and material resources ; Provide technical support and advice to branches to develop and administer IGAs and other Business development schemes; Studies and proposes feasible business venture to be implemented by HQ & branches;
- Conducts monitoring activities in the performance of IGAs of the Society and provides feedback on the sustainability of the same;
- Proposes business development ideas and conduct researches that ensure the sustainability and growth of income of the NS;
- Develops the development of promotional tools, selection of effective promotional mix, and evaluates impacts thereof, and ensures proper implementation of the mix;
- Implements donor care management system and continually identify new ways of maintaining and improving partner/donor relationship; Put in to action donors intelligence system and Identifies and targets high-value donors;
- Maintains and insures the application of the Resource Development and Management policy, strategies and procedures in all fundraising events organizations, donation and support solicitation of the Society at all levels; Facilitates and ensures timely collections of donated resources;
- Prepares proposals and necessary documentations for national and international fundraising programs, campaigns, and coordinates the effort of regional branches in local resource mobilization;
- Identifies and takes up opportunities to influence corporate prospects’ priorities, through proactive relationship development and peer-to-peer introductions. Identifies and solicits potential donors to extend their generosity to ERCS Cause;
- Maintains and follows up stewardship and strategic development of existing and new corporate partners to increase corporate income.
- Identify and sniff-out valuable opportunities that can attract high-net-worth individuals and companies and act fast to foster new relationship
- Provide necessary expertise support for members of the governance, senior managers, staff, and other internal and external stakeholders to harness the resource mobilization efforts of the NS;
- Provides fundraising and partnership related expertise and support to concerned work units and branch offices as required; Provide expertise support on partnership and fundraising initiatives of branch offices
- Works with pertinent work units to attain the fundraising, donation and support solicitation goal

Position 2: Senior Restoring Family Links Data Administration Officer
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Undertakes and facilitates the operation and management of all ERCS RFL Database technical issues like data entry procedures, creating beneficiaries and adding enquirer in the database, creating and closing tasks, closing and reopening the activities, archiving, tracking of statistics and generating reports from FLANSWER database, etc.
- Performing data administration tasks on the Family Links database (FLANWSERS) this includes: Entering RFL data in the system, updating tracing cases into the Database; Filing cases chronologically; generating reports on demand;
- Offering training services to ERCS headquarters and branch RFL staff and volunteers on how to operate the database, data entry procedure, generate different reports, track the status of tracing cases, database management, and data protection code of conduct and on other issues related to the RFL database.
- Assess the capacity and facilities of branches, identify their internet network strength, and IT equipment, provide training for the branches staffs, create user names and passwords for staff and volunteers and rollout the database to branches with nearby continuous technical support of the branch RFL officers, focal persons and volunteers;
- Accomplish data administration tasks with a very high standard of quality and accuracy in all data entry procedures that synchronize to the RFL working guidelines and procedures in a methodical, timely manner;
- Track the statuses of tracing cases, and the statistics of Red Cross Messages (RCMs), safe and well messages, Health and Welfare cases and BBC tracing requests from the FLANSWER database and provide updates and reminders for the ERCS branches, Migration and RFL coordinator and RFL officers, ICRC and other national society as per the standard of the national society RFL working procedure guideline;
- Check and enter all incoming, outgoing and domestic tracing cases in Family Links Answer (FLANSWER) database, forward to the ICRC, National Society or ERCS branches, follow up, and request updates from them;
- Performs the process of reviewing, sorting, and entering BBC Tracing request statistics in the database and forward to ICRC;
- Preparing timely weekly, monthly, quarterly, biannually, annual and on-demand base reports, analysis of the RFL tools data and reporting regularly to the Migration and Restoring and Family links coordinator considering in Ethiopian calendar for ERCS and Gregorian calendar for ICRC and other partners;
- Build, establish and maintain good and professional working relationships with the RFL officers, the coordinator, volunteers and other external partners at the office and field level.
- Carrying out monitoring and evaluations about the database objectives in headquarters and branches, carrying out data quality checks on FL Answers, and monitoring the program progress.
- Contributing to the review and evaluation of the progress of the RFL service data registration and ensuring that the system follows the guidelines and procedures including the attendance of and participation in team meetings and regular supervision
- Demonstrating a clear understanding and knowledge of case management and directing the staff to ensure proper service delivery, outcomes and accurate/timely reporting.
- Take part in the good functioning and management of the unit and branches in particular by supervising, coaching and training the staff carrying out RFL activities at HQ RFL unit and branches RFL officers, focal persons and volunteers and/or social workers;
- Assists to upgrade the level and quality of RFL service of the Society, in standardized quality and easily accessible way;
- Registers all restoring family links services beneficiary data in a designed database management system which is designed for that specified purpose,
- Facilitates in piloting and the implementation of applying the new RFL tools at the field level when it is designed as an emergency response;
- Ensures adequate treatment, follows-up and entering of all individual cases in the database and hard copy according to established procedures, including full respect of the beneficiary’s consent, best interest, confidentiality and protection of beneficiaries;
- Initiating purchase requests and store requisitions for materials needed for data administration and helping in annual planning and budgeting for tracking and data administration.
- Maintaining the tracing database program and keeping client files up to date
- Prepare success stories of tracing cases and upload the national society website with the consultation of communication and ICT professionals
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities of the tracing program as assigned by the Migration and Restoring family links coordinator.
