Position 1: Group Chief Finance Officer (CFO)
About You
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute Group’s financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives; advise the CEO and Board on investments, growth initiatives, and capital structure.
- Lead Group-wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management across subsidiaries.
- Ensure timely, accurate consolidated financial reporting, robust internal controls, and full compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Oversee treasury operations, liquidity planning, working capital optimisation, and financing/debt management.
- Evaluate capital expenditure proposals and investment business cases; monitor post-investment performance and ROI.
- Manage tax compliance, internal/external audits, and relationships with regulators, auditors, and financial institutions.
- Provide functional leadership to subsidiary finance teams; ensure disciplined financial governance and profit-centre accountability.
- Champion financial risk management, ethical conduct, and continuous process improvement through digitisation and automation.
- Mentor finance professionals and drive capability development across the Group finance function.
REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business. Master’s Degree / MBA preferred
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive finance experience. At least 7 years in senior financial leadership roles
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CA) strongly preferred
Position 2: Chief Sales & Marketing Officer
About You
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute Group’s commercial strategy aligned with corporate objectives; advise the Group CEO and executive team on market opportunities, growth initiatives, and commercial risks.
- Drive revenue growth through Group-wide sales planning, target setting, pipeline management, and performance monitoring across subsidiaries.
- Lead brand strategy, marketing positioning, and communication standards to ensure consistent messaging and strengthen market presence.
- Establish Group-wide customer experience frameworks, feedback systems, and service quality standards to foster a customer-centric culture.
- Enforce commercial governance, including pricing controls, discounting policies, credit practices, and ethical sales conduct.
- Provide functional leadership to subsidiary sales, marketing, and CX teams—ensuring strategic alignment while supporting local market execution, turnarounds, and expansion.
- Analyse commercial performance trends, identify gaps, and present insights to executive management and the Board.
- Build commercial capability, talent pipelines, and cross-functional collaboration across the Group.
REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Management, or related field
- Master’s Degree / MBA preferred
- Minimum 12 years of progressive commercial experience
- At least 7 years in senior commercial leadership roles
- Proven experience in sales management, marketing, and customer experience
- Strong commercial and market analysis skills
Position 3: Chief Trading & Agribusiness Officer
About You
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute Group trading and agribusiness strategy aligned with corporate objectives; advise the Group CEO on commodity markets, agribusiness trends, and strategic opportunities.
- Oversee P&L performance of trading and agribusiness subsidiaries—holding Managing Directors accountable for revenue, margins, costs, and cash flow.
- Establish Group policies for sourcing, pricing, margin management, and customer engagement; manage strategic relationships with suppliers, farmers, and off-takers.
- Ensure disciplined supply chain execution, inventory control, and working capital efficiency across the portfolio.
- Oversee agribusiness operations’ compliance with quality standards, certification, traceability, and sustainable sourcing practices.
- Identify and mitigate key risks, including price volatility, supply disruption, and quality issues; ensure regulatory and contractual compliance.
- Provide leadership and performance direction to subsidiary Managing Directors; support growth, turnaround, and operational improvement initiatives.
- Drive capability development, best practices adoption, and continuous improvement across trading, sourcing, and agribusiness operations.
REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Agribusiness, Supply Chain, or related field
- Master’s Degree / MBA preferred
- Minimum 12 years relevant experience in trading, agribusiness, or commodity-based businesses
- At least 7 years in senior leadership or portfolio management roles
- Proven experience managing multi-business or multi-commodity operations
- Strong commercial and market analysis skills
Position 4: Senior Assessor/Operations Officer
About You
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct pre-move surveys (on-site/virtual) to assess household goods; accurately estimate volume, weight, and special handling needs; prepare scope-of-work and support quotations.
- Supervise end-to-end shipment operations—packing, loading, customs documentation, Ethiopia–Djibouti transit, and delivery—ensuring strict compliance with FIDI/FAIM quality standards.
- Coordinate packing crews, drivers, customs agents (Ethiopia & Djibouti), and overseas partners to ensure on-time execution and proactively resolve disruptions.
- Verify inventory accuracy, conduct quality checks during packing/loading, and maintain complete digital records for audit readiness.
- Serve as primary client contact during pre-move and execution phases; provide clear guidance on procedures, restricted items, and customs requirements.
- Identify operational bottlenecks, recommend process improvements, and support training of junior staff on FIDI standards and best practices.
REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in international moving, freight forwarding, or logistics operations.
- Proven experience conducting pre-move surveys and volume assessments for household goods.
- Familiarity with Ethiopia–Djibouti corridor logistics and customs procedures is highly preferred.
- Exposure to FIDI/FAIM standards or international relocation operations is an advantage.
