It obtained its license from the National Bank of Ethiopia and commenced operation in October 2008 to transact Long-term (life) insurance business.
Ethio-Life continued to be the ONLY specialized company in the life insurance business in the Ethiopian insurance industry until August, 2012 In consideration of the immense potentials and viability of the general insurance business emanating from the rapid economic growth of the country, shareholders of Ethio-Life were determined to expand the service of the company by including Non-life (general) insurance products into its business portfolio.
Accordingly, the company was registered as a composite insurer and started providing innovative life and Non-life insurance products since August 2012. Hence the name Ethio Life and General Insurance S.C emerged.
Ethio Life and General Insurance S.C would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.
Position 1: Senior Human Resource Development Officer (Training Coordinator)
Job Summery
Participates and assists in preparations of human resource development and succession plans of the company
Designs training need assessment(TNA) questionnaire that supports human capacity building programs;
Knowledge of induction and training coordination
Facilitates and coordinates in-house and outsourced trainings
Prepares and submits periodic training performance reports
Good oral and written communication skills
Job Requirement
Qualification:BA degree in Human Resource Management, Management or other related field of study from a recognized University.
Work Experience: A minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in business organization
Place of work: Addis Ababa
Position 2: Cashier-Secretary
Job Summery
Basic knowledge of office management
Basic Knowledge of accounting principles & Cash Management
Basic knowledge of recording & managing activities
Ability to discretely handle confidential matters
Good knowledge of basic computer applications skill
Dependable &Team Player
Job Requirement
Qualification: Diploma/Level–IV/in Accounting field of Study from a recognized University/ College.
Work Experience: A minimum of one (1) year and above relevant experience in business organization.
