Ethiopian custom commission has recently come into existence by proclamation number 1097/2018 which is separated from the earlier “Ethiopian Revenues and Customs Authority” Headed by a Commissioner accountable to Ministry of Revenues by possessing its own vision and mission.
Ethiopian Custom Commission would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.

Note: The text also mentions a minimum GPA requirement of 2.00 and above.
Other Requirements
Must be a graduate of a public or private university in Ethiopia in the years 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 E.C. (Ethiopian Calendar).
Must be willing to be assigned to any border area of the country and any region and work 24 hours a day.

Monthly Housing Allowance: Birr 12,990.00
Monthly Professional Allowance: Birr 6,000.00
3. Desert Allowance
Desert Allowance Payment: This will be paid in areas approved by the Federal Civil Service Commission for desert allowance payment. It will be paid to all employees a For those who have graduated from various universities in various fields of study since 2014:
The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Customs Commission, in its letter No. 4/2560/17 dated June 09, 2017, has announced that we will recruit and send graduates with first degrees for permanent employment.
Therefore:
1. Those who have studied in private or public universities and graduated in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017; but those who have graduated from private higher education institutions must have their educational credentials verified by the Higher Education Quality Agency.
2. Able to pass the entrance exam given by the commission
3. Able to take the training given by the commission;
4. The proportion of women should be 50%,
5. The field of study is included in the list of fields of study attached to this letter
6. Graduation score of 2.00 and above,
7. Complete educational documents (8th grade and university) original and copy can be provided!
* As per Number of allowed quota:
Registration date: June 24, 2017 E.C only, and we will inform you when you register at the regions or Woreda Employment and Training Office with the original and non-returnable copy of the information long with their monthly salary.
Deadline: July 1, 2025
