Position: Digital Communications Officer
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Digital Media, Film Production, Multimedia Production, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in videography, photography, multimedia production, digital marketing, social media management, or content creation are advantageous.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in digital communications, content creation, social media management, multimedia production, or corporate communications.
- Demonstrated experience in video production, video editing, photography, and digital storytelling.
- Experience managing organizational social media platforms and digital campaigns.
- Experience in corporate organizations, media houses, creative agencies, development institutions, investment organizations, or public sector institutions is an added advantage.
- A strong portfolio showcasing multimedia and digital communication work is required.
Technical Competencies
- Strong digital storytelling and content creation skills.
- Advanced videography and video editing capabilities.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent editing software.
- Strong photography skills, including composition, lighting, and image editing.
- Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent tools.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and engagement strategies.
- Knowledge of website content management systems and digital publishing tools.
- Ability to analyze and interpret digital performance data and analytics.
