Ethiopost is a state-owned enterprise (SOE) tasked with the establishment and expansion of postal services in the country. It is the designated postal operator (DPO) that provides postal services throughout the Ethiopian territory in order to fulfill the government’s universal service obligation (USO).
Ethiopost would like to invite qualified and interested job seekers to apply for the following vacant position.
Position: Junior Ethics officer
Job requirement
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and 0 years of work experience.
Responsibilities:
Training and awareness raising
Providing ethical and anti-corruption training and monitoring the effectiveness of the training
Investigating corruption crimes
Investigating corruption and ethical violations,
Investigating cases of fraud, corruption, theft, breach of trust, etc.
Reporting the findings to the department.
Organizing information for further investigation of individuals suspected of corruption, theft or fraud, providing information and appearing as a witness in court.
Preventing conflicts of interest
Identifying and managing potential conflicts of interest within the organization;
Setting ethical standards to prevent conflicts of interest;
Maintaining public trust by preventing situations where decisions made with government resources are influenced by personal interests and desires;
Protecting the organization’s reputation and reputation;
Asset Registration and Verification
Support and monitor Ethiopian Post managers and employees to register their assets and properties online to prevent corruption and malpractice.
Organize data to verify the accuracy of assets registered during asset registration
Corruption Risk Management
Identify areas of work that are vulnerable to corruption and provide preventive measures and recommendations
Improve the process by identifying those who are vulnerable to corruption to prevent corruption before it occurs.
Monitor compliance with government procedures and regulations
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies related to ethics and anti-corruption.
