EthSwitch is mandated to Create Interoperability between financial institutions, Implement Domestic Payment Scheme, provide National Payment Gateway, serve as Central Inter connectivity for clearing & settlement and provide Shared Platform /Infrastructure services.

EthSwitch would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.
Position 1: IT Customer Service Officer I
Qualification:
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields of studies
- Experience is an advantage.
The IT Customer Service Officer assists in managing IT service operations by handling service requests, logging and following up on incidents, and supporting problem resolution. They provide first-line support and ensure proper documentation of IT service activities in accordance with established procedures.
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 2: IT Customer Service Officer II
Qualification:
- BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields of studies BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields of studies
- 2 years of relevant work experience
IT Customer Service Officer II Support IT service operations with advanced responsibility in incident, problem, and change management. Ensure effective service request fulfillment, monitor service quality, and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Provide technical guidance to junior officers and assist in maintaining service reporting and performance metrics.
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 3: Digital Payment Officer II
(for definite period of one year)
Requirement:
- BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields of studies
- 2 years of relevant experience
The Digital Payment Officer II is responsible for setting up, testing, and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on digital payment integrations. This role involves assisting banks with technical issues, creating detailed reports for both internal and external use, and monitoring transactions and interfaces to ensure smooth operation. The officer participates in testing when changes are made to digital payment applications.
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 4: Senior Digital Payment Officer
Requirement:
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields of studies
- 6/4 years of relevant work experience out of which 2 years in professional positions
- Ethical competence and certifications are advantages
The Digital Payment Senior Officer is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the performance and availability of digital payment systems. This role involves leading system upgrades, changes, and performance enhancements to ensure optimal functionality. The officer will participate in team leadership activities, delegate tasks in the absence of the principal, and manage the setup, testing, and piloting of various digital integrations such as IPS, NPG, and Shared Wallet. Key responsibilities include managing and monitoring payment application systems, guiding the payment system operations, and troubleshooting incidents.
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 5: Driver/Liaison/ Logistics Officer
Requirement:
- TVET 10+ 4 or diploma in ICT or Electronics or related fields of studies/ BA in Accounting, Management or related field of studies
- 3 years of relevant work experience/ Some experience is an advantage for degree holder
- Competence in MS Office and Ethical behavior; 3rd degree or public One driving license
Under the direct supervision of his/her supervisor, the driver/Logistics/Liaison Officer is responsible for transportation services, logistics, and effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders. The job holder responsible for processing visa and passport application processes, clearing consignments, maintaining accurate transport and liaison records, and ensuring vehicles are properly maintained and compliant with traffic regulations.
