Position 1: – Talent Acquisition Manager

Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Manager oversees planning, developing, managing and overseeing talent acquisition and recruitment processes and strategies. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Determine current staffing needs and produce forecasts
  • Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans Lead employment branding initiatives
  • Perform sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs
  • Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls etc.)
  • Take steps to ensure positive candidate experience
  • Assist in employee retention and development
  • Supervise recruiting personnel
  • Organize and/or attend career fairs, assessment centers or other events
  • Use metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement
  • Resourcing the internal talent requirements
  • Proactively work with HRBP’s to systematically identify and analyze business workforce requirements and deliver on gaps
  • Developing recruiting strategies to ensure job openings are filled in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Initiating, managing & delivering various recruitment reports, analysis, and dashboards on a periodic basis.
  • Alongside others, periodic updating of career websites / pages with real time positions.
  • Establishing partnerships and liaising with multiple Talent Acquisition Channels – Suppliers, Colleges,  Market, referrals for talent scouting
  • Establishing and maintaining talent databases which allow the business to reduce time and effort spent on the identification and recruitment of talent
  • Liaising with the relevant media houses/marketing for placement of the advertisements within the approved medium.
  • Working with the HRBP, supporting the processing of work permits where appropriate
  • Coordinating all interview and talent assessments and coaching hiring teams on best practices in assessing talent

Job Requirements


  • Degree in Human Resource Management or any other relevant business degree
  • 4+ years work experience in a busy HR environment in a large commercial organization with at least 3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition
  • Certification in psychometric testing preferably SHL
  • Exposure to talent analytics and talent management approaches coupled with good numeracy skills.
  • Excellent and demonstrable interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding of the roles and responsibilities of key business functions and how they interrelate to achieve business objectives.

Required Experiences:

  • Proven experience as talent acquisition manager
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding
  • Understanding of all selection methods and technique
  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards
  • Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases
  • Excellent communicator
  • Well-organized
  • A leader and strategic thinker

Position 2: – Candidate Engagement and Partnership Manager

Job Summary:

Candidate Engagement and Partnership Manager will report to the Program Manager and will be responsible to devise strategy and manage overall engagement of candidates and partnership between Info Mind Solutions/Dereja and several partner organizations. He/she will work with partner governmental and non-governmental organizations, higher academic institutions, social enterprises, associations and private companies. He/she shall be responsible to devise tailored engagement and partnership modalities and strategies. He/she shall put in place a working system for candidate engagement and partnership management. He/she will ensure effectiveness, efficiency and functionality of engagement and partnership strategies and modalities.

Detailed descriptions of the responsibilities are stated as follows:

Partnership Management:

  • Strengthening existing successful partnership practices and retain prevailing partners
  • Explore the potential for new partners and expand the partnership base
  • Devise partnership management strategy customized towards the nature of the partners
  • Establish a functional and sustainable partnership system
  • Ensure functionality and effectiveness level of partnership management
  • Follow up and managing partnership status, communication flow, compliances responded, and frequent demands addressed along with the team members
  • Ensure partners database to be up to date, usable and increase from time to time in collaboration with the team members
  • Proactively identify issues with partners and monitor any risks for quick and strategic remedial actions
  • Develop functional partnership agreements with the concerned partners as per their need and nature

Candidate Engagement:

  • Candidate engagement team building and setting clear roles and responsibilities
  • Establish candidate data sourcing, collection, cleaning, using and monitoring system
  • Mapping and exploring candidate data sourcing pool and expand candidate data base
  • Ensure timely access of disaggregated candidate data with all the important variables in response to the demand from all concerned partners
  • Follow the proper and timely candidate data provision to employers for employment opportunities
  • Monitor and ensure the employment status of the candidates in collaboration with the team members

Team Leadership:

  • Leading and manage all team members consisting of candidates’ engagement and partnership management 
  • Establish leadership and guidance for team members consisting of candidates’ engagement and partnership management 
  • Hold regular team meetings, identify routine and strategic issues, devise mitigation measures and communicate to Program Manager
  • Lead and inspire team members consisting of candidates’ engagement and partnership management 
  • Establish values-based team dynamics and personnel skills to team members consisting of candidates’ engagement and partnership management 
  • Regularly provide both informal and formal coaching and feedback to consisting of candidates’ engagement and partnership management team members
  • Actively seek feedback on own performance and effectiveness from both Program Manager and IMS leadership
  • Hold in-person supervision sessions with the team members consisting of candidates’ engagement and partnership management

  • BA, preferably MA in Management, Economics and related fields
  • Excellent comprehension, facilitation, professional writing and communications skills
  • 5 years of experience in partnership and project management
  • 3 years of experience in team management
  • Proficient in problem solving, detail-oriented, organization and management skills
  • Proficiency in English and Amharic languages
  • Working experience with diverse pool of partners such as governmental and non-governmental organizations, academic institutions, social enterprises, private companies, and so forth  
  • Good knowledge of team building, team leading, team working

Position 3: – Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Development:

  • Prospect for potential new clients through following up on weekly newspapers, participating in and organizing events, creating partnerships with professional associations and relevant government bodies and turn this into increased business
  • Cold call as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network.
  • Identify potential clients and the decision makers within the client organization.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and HR Business team for broader range of discussions.
  • Plan approaches and pitches. Work with Account Executives to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Participate in providing ideas to improve the service

Client Retention:

  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.

Business Development Planning:

  • Attend industry functions (Exhibitions and conferences), such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
  • Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

Management and Research:

  • Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
  • Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM
  • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.
  • Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
  • Ensure all team members represent the company in the best light.
  • Facilitate and present business development training and mentoring to Account Executives and other internal staff.
  • Understand the company’s goal and purpose so that will continual to enhance the company’s performance.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

BA in Business Management or related fields

Seven (7) years of sales or marketing experience out of which at least 3 years is in a managerial role

Other Skills and Qualifications:
