Position 1: MEAL Officer( Monitoring, Evaluation and Accountability Officer
Job Requirements:
Educational Requirements:
2 years of progressive, relevant work experience with a first degree or diploma with 5 years in Monitoring and Evaluation, Economics, Anthropology, Sociology, Statistics, Development, or related social science field. Postgraduate degree preferred.
1 year of relevant experience plus a postgraduate degree.
Requirements
Possess basic technical knowledge of M&E approaches and techniques in some or all the following areas: Outputs, Outcome monitoring; Theories of Change, Logical frameworks, Data collection, Basic data analysis, Accountability, and Client feedback mechanisms.
Experience in conducting primary quantitative data collection and data entry.
Basic proficiency and experience with mobile data collection such as Kobo, CommCare, ODK Collect are required, knowledge of Tableau, PowerBi, or GIS software tools are additional assets.
Good computer skills in MS Office, especially Excel and Word – with experience in writing reports.
Self-motivated and pro-active attitude with good organization, planning, and analytic skills, including prioritizing work, multi-tasking, and attention to detail.
Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and in constantly evolving work environments.
Experience in analyzing and presenting data in a way that facilitates effective decision-making.
Demonstrated analytical, systematic thinking and problem-solving skills are definite assets.
A strong understanding of accountability and proven ability to build Client Feedback Systems

Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent computer skills and competency in Word, Excel (data analysis and visualization), and PowerPoint. CommCare and PowerBI is a strong advantage.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Language Skills:
Strong oral and written communication skills in English are mandatory, other local languages are advantageous.
Key Working Relationships:
Position reports directly to (Management in Partnership): Field Coordinator and Senior Manager.
Position directly supervises Assistants and/or enumerators.
Other Internal and/or external contacts:
Internal: Program Managers and Officers, Database Officer, ICT Officer, Partnerships Manager, HR, Field Coordinator and MEAL team in Addis.
External: Beneficiaries, program partner organizations, local and national government.
Working Environment:
Travel: Expected travel 60% of the time

Position 2: WPE-CP Manager Re-Advert
Educational Requirements:
MA/MSc or equivalent in psychology, Gender studies Mental health, public health, psychiatry nursing, Social Science, Humanities or other related social/health science field of study with 3 years of relevant experience. 4 years of relevant experience with a first-degree BA. With significant psychosocial support and counseling experience and training considered
Preferred Experience & skills:
- Proven experience in implementing child protection and GBV initiatives, field-based assessments and working with local organizations in humanitarian/early recovery contexts.
- Demonstrated understanding of working with children in line with principles of do no harm.
- Personal qualities: Team player, ability to connect with a wide range of audiences, flexible, able to handle pressure well.
- A very high degree of autonomy, an ability to organize work and work well with a team with varied strengths.
- Use of computer tools (outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate and develop good relationships with communities and community organization, using a participatory approach.
- Physical and psychological ability to work under pressure,
- The employee must be flexible and able to respond to the requirements and instructions of their supervisor for the needs of the department.
- Willingness to travel to IRC project areas.
- Creative, solution oriented and adaptable
- Strong analytical, presentation, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Able to handle pressure well and work independently with initiative as well as with a team.
Language Skills:
Fluency in English is mandatory and Somali language is Advantageous.

Position 3: Livelihood Officer
Educational Requirements:
MSC/BSc Degree/Diploma in agriculture, agricultural Economics international development, economics, business administration, and/or related certification.
Preferred experience & skills:
Minimum work experience of 1 year for MSc Degree holders, 2 years for BSc Degree holders or 5 years for Diploma holders
Demonstrated experience in humanitarian response, with specific experience in livelihoods and enterprise development approaches.
Proven private sector experience, or experience supporting business and business skill development
Prior experience working in emergency settings or insecure environments preferred
Strong program/technical, team leadership skills, planning, reporting, monitoring, and evaluation skills
Strong written and oral communication skills, effective in representation and liaison with external parties
NGO experience is a plus; experience with coordination systems or advocacy preferable.
Must be capable of applying skills and knowledge in a range of capacities, including direct data collection and analysis, implementation, advisory functions, training, and the transfer of technical knowledge and leadership skills to others
Basic computer skills mainly, MS word, Excel, internet etc.
Works well in and promotes teamwork, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment.
Flexible and able to handle pressure well, has a strong sense of humor.
Language Skills:
Knowledge of English is mandatory and
