KAKI PLC would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following positions.

Position 1: Senior Accountant

Job Description:

KAKI PLC is an official dealer and assembler of ISUZU in Ethiopia. It is also engaged in different business lines including import, export, metal fabrication, after sales services, and cargo freight transport operations. The company wishes to employ a qualified professional for the Senior Accountant position.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible to control and verify financial transactions, reconcile account balances maintain general ledger and prepare month-end close procedures, and produce financial reports while keeping compliance with the IFRS and accounting and financial policies and procedures of the company.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that general accounting operations are verified and controlled as per company policy and procedures and accepted accounting principles.
  • Analyze financial transactions and ledger balances and prepare trial balance on that basis.
  • Establish a computerized database system into which all accounting data, files and documents will be entered to ensure safety and easy accessibility of those records.
  • Check the timely and accurate payment of VAT, withholding tax, payroll tax, pension payment, and other legal obligations.
  • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivables.
  • Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status for submission to the top management.
  • Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures, as it deems appropriate.
  • Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Ensure that all types official financial documents and vouchers are properly registered and are available in sufficient quantity.
  • Generate a source document for every financial transaction, which is essential to the bookkeeping and accounting processes as [it] provides evidence that a financial transaction has occurred.
  • Make statement of accounts reconciliation with the accounts of business partners, such as customers, suppliers etc. as appropriate.
  • Check data entry for its accuracy by reviewing coded documents and journals only by those staff having the required authority to do so.
  • Examine and perform proper entry for prepaid expenses, accruals, deferrals and other pending issues at the end of every month.
  • Develop, install and maintain proper revenue and expense classification, accumulation and reporting systems, which are necessary to provide details for major sources of revenue and to control operating expenses.
  • Prepare and present regular reports about company finances including, debts, deficits, expenditures, and revenue.
  • Verify Gotera Branch office documents, prepare journal entices in relation to the accounting function, and submit for posting to the ledger account by the encoder.
  • Keep up-to-date on practices, accounting systems and procedures, internal control measures, and state and federal laws regarding business operations.
  • Prepare periodic reports for submission to the General accounting division head.

Job Requirements

Required Number:  1(One)

Qualification:  BA in Finance and Accounting

Work Experience: 6 years in relevant role

Required Competence:

  • Advanced skill in administration of finance and strong analytical skills
  • Financial performance report writing, inventory control systems and accounting
  • Outstanding knowledge and understanding of IFRS and other relevant laws
  • Knowledge of enterprise resource planning software (ERP)
  • Computer skill, excellent communication skills, English language proficiency.

Position 2: Tele Marketer

Job Description:

KAKI PLC is an official dealer and assembler of ISUZU in Ethiopia. It is also engaged in different business lines including import, export, metal fabrication, after sales services, and cargo freight transport operations. The company wishes to employ a qualified professional for the Tele Marketer position.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

The Tele Marketer is responsible for calling, answering all incoming calls and work with customers to sell them our products and services. He/she must be passionate about what our company’s offerings, believe in the vision we sell, and demonstrate excitement on every call to ensure that customers like to talk with you and want to learn more about the company and brand. He/she enjoys conversing with people and can turn a regular conversation into success of the company. He/she can relax a day at work while networking with people from all across the country.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Call to customer as per daily target.
  • Answering all incoming calls, selling our products and services to customers.
  • Encourage customers to buy services and products by using a prepared script to reference important parts of the company’s offerings.
  • Go off-script when necessary to build a relationship with customers or answer any questions they may have that are not addressed in the script.
  • Provide advises to prospective and current customers by answering questions and addressing concerns about purchased products.
  • Update the database with new information every time a customer calls, and back up data on a regular basis to protect sensitive customer information.
  • Compile accurate, full files for each customer by filling out forms and keeping track of logs, providing your insight into who they are and what they want from you.
  • Complete forms and record logs to create accurate, detailed files for each customer, providing insight into the target audience and what they want from the company.
  • Follow organization’s standards to maintain quality service and ensure that customers receive exceptional service.
  • Boost workplace spirit or morale on the sales floor by encouraging other sales representatives and establish a team approach.
  • Report any necessary changes to equipment or processes that will boost productivity and efficiency while reducing wastages.

Required Number:  1(One)

Qualification: Diploma or BA Degree in Marketing or Business Administration or other related fields

Work Experience: Two (2) years for Diploma, and 1 years for B.A. Degree graduate

Skills and Abilities:

  • Computer skill
  • Prior telephone sales experience
  • Professional manner is preferable
  • Well organized and great attention to detail

Position 3: Sales Manager

Job Description:

KAKI PLC is an official dealer and assembler of ISUZU in Ethiopia. It is also engaged in different business lines including import, export, metal fabrication, after sales services, and cargo freight transport operations. The company wishes to employ a qualified professional for the Sales Manager position.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage the entire activities of the sales department, provide leadership expertise in providing efficient and focused sales strategies, plan, implement and direct the sales activities so as to achieve the company business strategy, growth and profit objectives.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual sales plans and submit to the Commercial Business Unit Director for his approval.
  • Prepare annual sales and marketing strategy and budget, and continuously monitor and report on its achievements on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Develop sales policies, and procedures.
  • Map potential customers and develop leads to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Present sales, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the Commercial Business Unit Director.
  • Lead the sales team members to ensure compliance to all organizational policies and procedures and monitor the overall sales performance.
  • Ensure compliance of sales operation to all legal commercial laws and procedures, and duties, licenses and restrictions.
  • Liaise with marketing department to ensure effective marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies are conducted.
  • Monitor all sales transactions and review all customer response for all orders and payments and resolve all customer issues.
  • Oversee that advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, promotional materials, and trade fair are properly managed.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding and meeting their expectations.
  • Oversee customer inquiries are appropriately responded to in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate customer records of customers and establishes customer relations.
  • Review sales performance trends and devise ways to increase the market share.
  • Lead on customer satisfaction surveys and report to management to inform on implications on future sales strategies.
  • Coach and support sales staff members to enable them achieve sales goals.
  • Organize staff training programs in collaboration with HR department.
  • Conduct employee performance appraisal periodically to evaluate how well employees have completed their duty and to take any needful action accordingly.
  • Prepare periodic reports for submission to the Commercial Business Unit Director.

Job Requirements

Required Number:  1(One)

Qualification:  B.A./B.Sc. Degree or M.A./M.Sc. Degree in Marketing, or Management or Mechanical Engineering or related field

Work Experience: Ten (10) years for B.A./B.Sc. Degree, and 8 years for M.A./M.Sc. Degree graduate in relevant role

Skills and Abilities:

  • Computer skill, communication skills, English language proficiency
  • Cross functional team, excellent mentoring, and coaching skill
  • Understanding of accounting/finance, business acumen and industry expertise
