Position 1:- Mobile Health and Nutrition Team Leader
Required Qualification and Experience:
Education: MSc/MPH/BSs degree as Health Officer or in Nursing
Experiences: Minimum 6 years of experiences in provision of clinical Services and team coordination, an experience on SRH services provision is preferred.
Additional expertise
Experience in training and coaching/mentoring service providers, clinical supervision and quality assurance of FP, CAC, SGBV, ANC, PNC, and other SRH services and nutrition services.
Experience and understanding of FDRE MOH structure, strategic documents, and health service delivery system.
Experience in Quality-of-care implementation government facilitate, clinical auditing, Quality planning and interventions.

DUTIES/TASKS
Provides all required technical procedure for the clinical components of MSIE mobile and health nutrition team projects for initiating, improving, or expanding quality FP, CAC, ANC, PNC, nutrition and SGBV services and ensure the implementation of these activities in accordance with applicable national, international and MSI policy guidelines, protocols, and technical standards.
In consultation with clinical quality team and the project team, leads the effective implementation of MSIE clinical standards and practice including clinical quality improvement frameworks, approaches, and tools such as ensuring clinical quality and facilitative supervision for quality assurance procedures.
Periodically updates MSIE program leadership team, Regional Health Bureau , zonal offices and implementing partners on best clinical practices related to quality of care (QOC), FP, CAC, ANC, Nutrition assessment, STIHIV screening, PNC and SGBV services
Provide technical assistance in updating the mobile health and nutrition team and, technical/clinical guidelines and other technical works in consultation with the technical team, directors and MSIE technical Leadership.
Serve as trainer and provide technical assistance in coordinating clinical care to mobile health team on clinical quality related training activities appropriate to the needs of the MSIE and supported projects.
Co-lead the alignment and integration of SRH interventions with broader health systems, mental health, and psychosocial care, sexual and gender-based violence and other relevant sector areas, in collaboration with other technical and clinical teams.
Provide technical assistance and coach/mentor health service providers on Long Acting and Permanent Contraceptive Methods (LARC/PM), Postpartum FP, Comprehensive Abortion Care, ANC, PNC, and SGBV areas to enhance competency and performance of providers.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to field-based mobile health team to institutionalize quality LARC/PM, CAC, ANC, PNC, and SGBV services at MSIE supported health facilities.
Conducts periodic quality assessment and ensure the regular and timely implementation of ongoing program compliance monitoring using appropriate tools/ checklists to reinforce clinical standards and client centered care.
Organize monthly meetings using performance data (CLIC reports) with the team to agree on action points with regards to:
Medical quality: MAT recommendations, QTA plan progress, incidents management
Site selection and schedule
Marketing and demand generation
Client feedback
Draws up annual, quarterly, and monthly plan and produce and submit monthly update and quarterly report to the area program manager and the channel lead.
Synthesizes data, properly document, and disseminate lessons learned and best practices MSIE experience in improving quality of clinical services for FP, CAC, ANC, PNC, and SGBV undertaken by mobile health and nutrition team.
Ensure the mobile health team complies with the following,
MSI clinical quality standards, including an annual QTA and incident reporting,

Position 2:- Mobile Health and Nutrition Team Driver
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Diploma in Auto mechanics with 3rd Grade Driving License
Experience: Four years of experience in driving and vehicle management

Support for the SRH service delivery
Provides support to the outreach team on the infection prevention in the Area Programs Office where MSIE is operating SRH/FP services;
Manages the loading and unloading activities of clinical materials as guided by the outreach team lead;
Ensures no client waiting time through the on time arrival and departure for duty.
Undertakes any other similar assignments as requested by the supervisor.
Driving and Vehicle Management
Drives the vehicle assigned to him safely, with strict observance of traffic rules and regulations and the organization’s internal policy;
Ensures that the vehicle is utilized for the sole purpose of the organization’s work;
Checks and ensures the timely filling and rational use of fuel and oil supplies to the organization’s vehicles;
Ascertains that the necessary appliances (spare tyre, fire extinguisher, tools, etc.) are readily available in the vehicle;
Ensures proper cleanliness, maintenance, servicing repair and safe keeping of the vehicle.
Ensures the annual inspection of the vehicle before the set deadline.
Distributes/collects letters, packages, parcels and messages on behalf of the organization;
Fills in fuel and oil consumed and kilometer readings before and after any travel on appropriate transport forms and submits same to his/her immediate supervisor;
Fills up the vehicle log book accurately and submits it on regular basis to the transport supervisor;
Informs to his/her supervisor any incident or safety problems faced up on travel immediately;
Conducts standard checks of the vehicle every day before operating and ensures that regular maintenance work is carried out at recommended Km reading.

General
Examines clients in line with standard medical procedures using various types of diagnostic mechanisms.
Prescribes and administers drugs based on history, physical examination and Laboratory test reports and findings.
Performs all types of Comprehensive Family planning and comprehensive abortion care(CAC) and post abortion care (PAC) according to the national and MSI guidelines;
Assists (Scrub) permanent methods of family planning and other procedures, after receiving the required training;
Screens under five children and pregnant and lactating women for malnutrition using MOH approved tools.
Providess micro-nutrient supplements to children and pregnant women as needed.
Refer specific children to be followed up as required (sick children, children not gaining weight, children with social problems, etc) to the nearest public health facility or provider.
Puts the interest of clients/patients above all other considerations and ensures the confidentiality of all cases;
Ensures the maintenance of a high level standard consistent with available resources;
Ensures and maintains appropriate and proper referral system for client which in-need.
Responsible to report clinical incidents to Clinical Services Quality Department according to MSI Incident management policy
Ensures that clients’ cards and other records are up-to-date, orderly, properly filed and readily retrievable for reference and review
Properly records client’s information on the MSIE’s electronic health system such as CLIC+
Prepares regular reports on progress/ challenges identified and submit to immediate supervisor.
Participates in training programs, as and when deemed necessary;
Provides appropriate orientation and supervision for community-level volunteers engaged in the outreach program.
Gives technical advice to the public facilities and Area Program Manager on any possible action for quality care improvement from which the mobile health service may benefit;

Instrument Nurse Role:
Prepares all surgical instruments, sets and medical supplies required for operation in accordance with accepted standards,
Assists permanent FP method service delivery intra-operatively and makes the instruments ready for other operations as required.
Ensures proper receipt, storage, safe-keep, issuance and timely placement of orders of surgical instruments and medical supplies for theatre by pre-establishing re-order level and regular replenishment of enough stocks.
Operation Theatre/Scrub Nurse Role
Prepares patients for surgery by washing, shaving and sterilizing the patients’ operative areas, weighs, lifts, turns, and positions patients; shaves patients prior to operations;
Assists in surgery by laying out instruments, setting up equipment, assisting surgical teams with gowns and gloves and passing instruments to surgeons
Cleans and sterilizes the operating room and instruments.
Sets up and provide post procedure counselling for clients,
Makes beds and maintains patients’ rooms
Related Duties/Tasks
Ensures the maintenance of high-level standards and applies universal precautions to prevent infection (e.g. HIV/AIDS) from blood or other body fluids of patients
Accounts for all assets under his/her custody during regular stock taking and audit as and when required.
Prepares and submits periodic reports as required.

JOB SUMMARY
Under the technical supervision of the MSIE Mobile Health and Nutrition Team Leader, the midwife will be one of the key team member of mobile health & nutrition team. She/he will be responsible to provide a wide range of MNCH services in hard to reach areas of community and conflict affected areas with due focus of ANC, PNC, EPI, Nutrition, FP and SA/PAC procedures, follow up and ensure the women and girls are well after procedures, perform all the necessary other supports before, during and after service delivery, process instruments and tools for service delivery; performs the duties in accordance with accepted standard medical practice and professional code of conduct.
DUTIES/TASKS
Takes part in basic Maternal health that Includes screening & counseling on good nutrition, preventing and detecting diseases, access to sexual and reproductive health, and support for women experiencing intimate partner violence.
Supports the health facility team on newborn care that includes immediate care at birth, such as delayed cord clamping, drying, breathing assessment, skin-to-skin contact, and early breastfeeding. Other components include thermal care, resuscitation, infection prevention, and assessment of health problems.
Provides respectful maternity care includes freedom from abuse and violence, consent, privacy, communication, shared decision-making, dignity, respect, safety, and justice.
Support women & young girls in rising their intent to use and ensure the provision of family planning service at all points of service.
Provides and consults childcare services.
Performs nutritional assessment for women, girls, and youth.
Provides postnatal follow-up and timely consultation when problems arise.
Provides counselling to labouring and postpartum women, and girls,
Assists mobile clinical team as to take all standard measures required for service provision.
Ensures the maintenance of high-level standards and applies universal precautions to infection prevention.
Avails herself/himself to regular stock taking and audit as and when required.
Prepares and submits reports as required.
Makes an on-time report for the clinical incident that happened in the service provision as per the guideline of MSIE.
Performs other related tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.
