Kerchanshe Group is the largest producer and exporter of coffee in Ethiopia, and engage in manufacturing, agro-processing and export business. It has a proud history of providing quality coffees to the local and international markets. Currently Kerchanshe Group needs a dedicated and motivated candidate.

Kerchanshe Trading Company would like to invite qualified and interested job seekers to apply for the following different position.

Position 1: – Senior Banking Expert in credit

Responsibility

  • Under close supervision of the director,  
  • Conducts business plans for financing,
  • Analyze the financial cost implication of all borrowings,
  • Follow all credit request status in the banks till approval and disbursement,
  • Liaison with respective loan officers/CRMs of all banks,
  • Follow up all credit facilities with all banks,
  • Maintain proper loan contract and copies of collateral insurance policy files,
  • Follow and make sure all loan repayments are being discharged per the contract,
  • Ensure all collaterals are estimated,
  • Ensure all collaterals have proper insurance cover and cover policy is renewed on time,
  • Hold all copies of collateralized Land holding certificate and Libras of vehicles and machineries
  • Conduct post disbursement follow-ups;
  • Follows up the timely collection of loan contractual agreements for subsequent filling, and other related activities as instructed by his director.

Qualification:

BA, MA in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Management, Economics, or related Field Of Study

Work Experience:

Five (5) years as relevant experience in banking business special exposure in credit and trade finance position

Position 2: – Sales Supervisor (For Buna plate and Buna plan)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Sales supervisors are responsible for leading and managing a team of sales representatives. They provide guidance, support and motivate the team members to achieve their sales targets.
  • Monitoring the stock reconciliation being with the accountant.
  • Monitoring sales collection on daily basis to ensure all the sold items amount are credited to the companies account.
  • Providing a written to immediate supervisors report whenever there is stock shortage or overage with the sales teams and taking corrective action.
  • Producing immediate written report when there is cash sales delay to sales and marketing department.
  • Controlling and monitoring Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales of all plate van sales and Mercato shop.
  • Territory Management: Assigning territory to which van sales should operate their daily operations to ensure proper coverage and distribution of products.
  • Performance evaluation: Conducting regular performance evaluation of sales staffs.
  • Assessing sales staff’s performance and identifying gaps and proposing improvement plans when necessary.
  • Market Analysis: Monitoring Market trends, competitor’s activities and customer preferences to identify new market opportunities.
  • Sales reporting: Reporting daily, weekly, monthly, quarter and yearly sales reports.
  • Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualification and Skills:

BA or MA Degree in Sales & Marketing, Marketing, Management and  related field of studies.

Work Experience:

Four (4) years for BA and 3(three) years MA experience

Skills:

  • Supervisory skills
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Communication and report writing.
  • Excellent in application of Peachtree accounting software.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Position 3: – Planning and Inspection Supervisor

General job Description:

  • Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
  • Inspecting vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade. Conducting routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
  • Working with the immediate manager and other mechanics to diagnose and repair the mechanical and electrical components of vehicles.
  • Assessing vehicle history, potential problems, and the services they would like to receive.
  • Performing test drivers, inspections, and other diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify where problems exists and determine which parts need to be repaired or replaced.
  • Completing preventative maintenance on vehicles, such as performing oil changes, flushing and replacing fluids, and replacing brakes.
  • Repairing damage to the body of the vehicle and washing and painting the vehicle’s exterior.
  • Generating timelines and estimates for repairs.
  • Inspecting internal systems and controls to ensure the vehicle is operating properly and in compliance with state regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate records relating vehicles, parts, and service history.
  • Using shop equipment as instructed, performing regular maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Engaging in learning opportunities to update job knowledge and technical skills.

Qualification:

Level 4 /diploma BA Degree auto Mechanic, mechanical engineering

Work Experience:

4/2 years’ experience

Position 4: Senior Cost Accountant (Inventory Accountant)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains accurate costing systems in relation to labor, production methods and material supply.
  • Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services to determine effects on costs.
  • Estimates new and proposed product costs as well as product changes.
  • Analyzes the data collected and logs a detailed record of the results.
  • Prepares (monthly, quarterly, and annual) cost forecasts.
  • Analyzes monthly Cost of goods sold (CoGS), Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and Manufacturing variance journal entries.
  • Analyzes data on material and labor costs to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Reviews standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
  • Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided to determine effects on costs.
  • Analyzes actual costs and prepares periodic report comparing standard costs to actual costs and recommend cost efficiencies.
  • Provides finance support on business cases; project cost calculations/quotations for strategic projects with appropriate labor and overhead rates and overall production costs (make/buy, outsourcing/insourcing).
  • Prepares product cost reports which meet the needs of managers and other employees using the information.
  • Reconciles general ledger account balances for inventory, material expense and production costing items.
  • Assists cost related issues in Ad-Hoc projects to improve overall financial process and controls.
  • Evaluates and updates standard costs on a quarterly basis, which includes the review and analysis of material, direct & indirect labor, and other overhead costs incurred.
  • Provides input and recommendations for streamline processes and updates of the cost accounting policies and procedures.
  • Reviews and drives cost reductions, working capital opportunities and manufacturing productivity improvements.
  • Prepares the monthly cost of sales figures by analyzes expenses such as material, labor, research, and development expenses.
  • Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualification and Skills:

MA or BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Management, Business administration or related fields.  

Work Experience: 

3/5 years experience out of which two(2) years as Inventory Accountant

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and procedures.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel.
  • Time management skills.
  • Familiarity with Peachtree accounting.

Position 6: Sales Officer

Sales Officer Responsibilities:

  • Developing and sustaining long-lasting relationships with customers.
  • Calling potential customers to explain company products and encourage purchases.
  • Answering customers’ questions and escalating complex issues to the relevant departments as needed.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of company products.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of all sales, scheduled customer appointments, and customer complaints.
  • Collaborating with the marketing department to ensure that the company is reaching its target audience.
  • Informing product developers of possible product improvements and changes to ensure that company products meet current market needs.
  • Preparing cost-benefit analyses for prospective and existing customers to determine the most suitable purchase options.
  • Analyzing competitors’ products to determine product features, benefits, shortfalls, and market success.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, marketing, or related field is preferred.

Work Experience: At least 3 (three) years of work experience as Sales officer.

Requirements Skill:

  • Proven sales experience.
  • Sound knowledge of sales strategies and industry regulations.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and consultative sales skills.
